In sanctuary states and cities, innocent americans are at the mercy of criminal aliens because state and local officials defy federal authority and obstruct the enforcement of our immigration laws. Reporter and members of the California Legislature on the other. The claimed sanctuary policies make cities more dangerous. I think the president needs to read up. Because hes wrong about immigrants, and hes wrong about what makes our communities safer. Reporter the Legislature Also passed a bill, preventing landlords from reporting their undocumented renters. Oakland owner Maria Estrada testified about her experience, after asking her landlord about repairs. One year, he realized my daughter did not have a Social Security number. Found out she was undocumented. He told my daughter and me that he would report us to i. C. E. , if we keep complaining. 6 to 12 months rent. Then theres a. B. 450. It prevents employees from cooperating with i. C. E. I addressed these concerns and established a clear standard to ensure that disruptive rates are done legally. Employers must have a warrant before allowing i. C. E. Onto a worksite. Some lawmakers say this work is still not done. And theres more to do in 2018. Now in p desire a a shark attack near marin countery county. The woman may have thought the shark was a seal. This is a common time of year to see elephant beals on the beaches here in marin county. Like this 3,000pound bull. Researcher says its also something that attracts sharks. This time of year, a lot of the great white sharks will follow the seal unless. And we have a lot of harbor seals that will enter drake. And thats the spot they come in and out of. So thats a natural hunting spot for the sharks. Park rangers say the woman hadnt been in the water very long before a 12foot shark bit her foot. I hehesitate to hesitate to say it was an attack. But the shark was very inquisitive. And mounting the foot. And again, when you have a razor sharp mouth full of teeth. Ranger john thinks the shark might have confused the sufferer with a seal. They swim along, looking for the silhouette of seals. And quite often, a surfer on a surf board has the same sim wet that a silhouette that a seal has. An elephant seal is much like a corn dog. Theres all that was meat with that coating. Reporter just the same, park rangers closed the waters for swimmers. For a holiday weekend, we didnt want to risk having people in the water. Considering the temperatures were only 50, most say its not an issue. I have no intention of getting into the water today remember.
