Now to the deadly wine country wild fires, in the first hours of the fires, Sonoma County failed to connect with 54 of phone numbers in the data bases used to send emergency alerts. The countys Emergency Services manager said that the performance was impacted by damaged rel phone towers and burned utility lines, sonoma has faced criticism for failing to alert residence about the fire. The flames killed people and destroyed homes. Many victims have turned to renting, landlords have been kicking out lower income residents to house these people. One local city is taking action to try to stop freeway shootings. Reporter eight people have been killed each and every the past few years here on vair yows freeways in the east bay, this new program that involves cameras on a couple of freeways was finally approved last night. The money is coming from caltrans, its a new freeway security project running along highway 40 and i80 through richmond. The cameras pan tilt and zoom as they record traffic going by, reading the license plates of cars and listening for gun fire with special microphones. The shots fired on the freeway will turn the cameras this the direction of the gun fire, then the alert goes to the Task Force Commander investigating the shooting and he will be able to log into that camera system through a smart device, we will have eyes on the freeway in real time. Reporter video cameras have been mounted on many city streets in the east bay for over a decade. Thats why Police Believe that gang members have been shooting each other on the freeways instead because there are no cameras there. The cameras will be installed by early summer of next year, authorities are hoping to get grants the keep the Camera Program going. Last night the city council sill approved a solution, new cameras installed on to freeways, the freeway security project is going to going to be putting cameras on highway four threw pittsburg and along highway 80 through richmond. For over a decade there have been cameras this the bay area, thats why Police Believe that the shootings are now happening on the freeway. We found that gang members and follow each other and wait until they get on to the freeway and shoot them because there are no cameras. Business taxes fall from 39 to 21 , thats a windfall for corporations in the united states, if you are very wealthy and have more than 22 million to pass on to your children, you are saving millions of dollars in estate taxes and there will be moderate across the board cuts for everyone for the next few years, the losers are more difficult to identify. Republicans say that the savings for corporations are going to be passed on to everyone, economists and democrats do not dpree, the losers agree. The losers may be the middle class because their taxes go up after a few years, something that has not gotten a lot of attention, healthcare, anyone that has healthcare, because the mandate on obamacare is gone, i will no longer have to buy insurance, if you are young and healthy, thats great. If you are not young and healthy, the estimates are that insurance rates will go up by 10 . We want to know why california is considered a loser. Because our property taxes and our local and state taxes are so high and housing costs are high, if you are lucky enough to be making enough money that you pay 50,000 in california income tax, under the old system you could deduct that from your federal tax which is a 20,000 savings. Under the new systems there is a 10,000 exception but then this bill could cost you 20,000. If you make less money than that, the proportion is the same. For people in california that itemize their deductions, that deduction is gone. The winners are places that do not have state income tax. The losers are california and new york, the blue states do a lot worse in this bill. President Donald Trumps administration is blaming this years Wannacry Cyber attack on north korea. Federal investigators are trying to determine what caused the Train Derailment in Washington State. They said they have recovered the event data recorder from the rear of the train, information so far indicates that speed may have played a role. The town of lakewoods mayor had been vocal at a City Council Meeting last month, warning of the dangers of a high speed passenger rail.
