First responders and anyone who lost their homes in the wine country wildfires were invited. Many of the ingredients were donated as well as time. The volunteers keep calling, yeah, sure, come on down, you can help out. I dont know them all. They just want to help out. Its just nice to be able to feed people when bad things happen, to see them actually smile for a night. Davis and mahan used to be friends and, in fact, davis is the former chair of the relay for life cancer walk in santa clara. She sat with me through some of my chemotherapy sessions.
