Reporter new allegations against a Democratic State senator and now, the government is changing the process for investigating Sexual Misconduct complaints. Then announced it last night. They will hire an independent legal team to investigate allegations of Sexual Harassment and abuse and that team will recommend discipline. It will be up to the victim and the whistleblowers whether or not the findings of the investigations will be made public. Now, it is handled by the Senate Rules Committee and details of complaints of discipline are not made public. In a statement, with the rules Committee Said the process will be designed to protect the privacy of victims and whistleblowers with transparency for the public and adequate due process for all parties involved. The changes come after bombshell allegations that democratic senator, tony mendoza, sexually harassed at least two women who worked in his office including an intern in 2008, jennifer kwart. Reporter michelle, right now, it is sprinkling a bit but the range should pick up later on today and in fountain grove, they are concerned about what it means for sinkholes. There are people that still live in this community. Dozens are still in their homes and dozens of homes are standing with officials telling those residents to be prepared to evacuate because of the concerns of flooding, mudslides and sinkholes. Now, officials have identified areas where pipes underneath the ground, plastic pipes, actually melted during the fire and left a void that has led to at least one for footwide sinkhole. The pipes could lead to possibly eight more sinkholes and Officials Say theres a possibility of 20 other areas with destroyed pipes. The worst Case Scenario is residence may be forced to leave their homes once again. We dont want to frighten people but we want them to be ready. If there is enough rain and the hillside starts sliding and roads develop sinkholes, we might have to ask people to get out of there. Reporter officials tell us that sections of fountaingrove are at risk. It means some residents could be asked to leave at a moments notice. One will be in south San Francisco and the other in san jose. That work starts in 2018 where there will be temporary power for trains testing on that. Permanent power will be complete by 2021. It will be usable by 2022. What does this mean . The commuters will get rid of the old diesel engines and it will be more modern and it will be a green mode of transportation with the promise of larger and fancy cars that will fit more people. The victim was identified as Teresa Gonzales on a gofundme page set up my family to raise money for the funeral costs. She was run over late saturday night and at El Camino Real near mill berry avenue. Police found her unconscious in the middle of the street with her belongings scattered across the road. Paramedics rushed her to the hospital and she later died. Police are looking for a black car between the year 1998 and 2000, possibly a toyota or lexus with damage to the right front end and hood.
