Phil matear live with what it all means. Reporter thats right. What those other options may be, remains to be seen. For the fishermen here, if it means no tunnels, theyre already ready to dance. Lets take a listen. Im ecstatic. It doesnt make sense to send that water down there. You just cant destroy other peoples backyards. Reporter the delta is more than just a backyard. Its also their livelihood. As state assemblyman jim frazier tells us its a way of life. Its the economy, i have farmers that utilize it for irrigation. There are other things to do such as storage, so many things we could use this money for. Reporter Governor Brown pushed on, because the tunnels had the backing of president obama. The interior department had already spent 84 billion. Reporter until today, the tunnels also appeared to have the backing of President Donald Trump as well. Its very odd. Especially when candidate said he wanted to provide more water for the farmers. And now . Im thrilled. Its probably the only decision the president has made that i agree with. Ive always said, lets give the man a chance. Reporter that chance remains to be seen. He we know the Trump Administration can go one way or the other. For the residents of Contra Costa County, and the fishermen here at the marina, theyll take what they can get so far. Can clarify the feds will work on the tunnels, or will work in general . Reporter in general, and with the water to go from north to south. I realize sometimes the answer is about as clear as mud. Here is the real issue. The issue is the timing of this. Last week, the santa clara district said they would only give a third of what theyre looking for. They say they want one tunnel. Whatever the case, if it goes back to the drawing board, that could add 2, 3 years to the project, and by then, Governor Brown is going to be ex Governor Brown and the fate of the tunnels could go with that title as well. Thats a fighting combination allen. Line formed outside of the department of health, homeowners had their paperwork ready to go. One Citizen Group wants 0 monitor these rebuilding efforts. Thats why we found that his conduct was unprofessional, and inappropriate. But again, i want to be clear to draw a very distinct line that it wasnt sexual abuse, and it wasnt sexual misconduct. Thats where the line is drawn . Thats where the line is drawn in this case in my response to what im reading in social media. Player of the week after breaking out well apparently reports of of amari coopers demise were premature.
