Was Santa Rosa City council will meet to consider a similar proposal to stop rent hikes of more than 10 and another idea is to allow homeowners to rent out full houses or guest houses and have the areas where park cars or rvs to sleep overnight. The biggest task on hand is the cleanup. A man is in custody after a shooting rampage that killed two and injured three others in lake county. It happened yesterday and the suspect was detained. Investigators said 61yearold, alan ashmore, was arrested about one half hour after the first shooting. Ashmore is suspected of shooting at homes in the neighborhood where two men were killed and hes accused of firing at a gas station and shooting at a chp officer who had body armor protecting him. No word on the motive. He has been in prison and has extensive criminal history having to do with narcotics. One arrest for violence.
