He is a truck driver. He parked it overnight saturday into sunday and said he woke up with floodwaters coming into his cab. He was rescued by a volunteer firefighter on a boat and he has been staying here for the last couple of days. There was a mother i said there a couple of days ago, a woman and her small daughter, who were outside. They were just trying to get some sleep. The lawyers for those suspects are trying to figure out if their clients will go before a judge and face charges today or if they will be released. The attorneys say six have now been cited and released, five remain in jail, including seth vasquez, james dominic, rachel moore, at joshua phillips, and yosinia mendez. Charges range from assault with a Deadly Weapon to violating city code. During the violence that broke out at mlk Civic Center Park on sunday, it started as a peaceful protest but then quickly changed, got rowdy, when a group in black masks descended on the park.
