This morning we have video that appears to show how a traffic stop escalated into the arrest of sandra bland. Days later she was found dead in her texas jail cell. Officialing say she committed suicide. Her family disputes that. Danielle nottingham looks at the video from the traffic stop that quickly turns into a confrontation. Reporter this Texas Troopers dash kam shows this texas trooper pulling over sandra bland for failure to pull ore for a signal change. You seem irritated. I am. I really am. A few minutes later he ordered her to put out her cigarette and she does not. Get out of the car now. Why am i being apprehended. Bland exited the car when he pulled a taser at her. I will light you up. Get out now. Wow, wow. The argument escalates off camera. Youre a real man now. You going to slam me. Reporter in a sworn affidavit the trooper says bland kicked him in the right leg and swung her elbows at him. Bland was taken to this cell in the Waller County jail whether she died three days later. The trooper has been placed on desk duty for violating proceduring during the arrest. A trooper has the obligation to become courteous throughout the entire con flick and that wasnt the case. The medical examiner said she used a trash can liner to hang herself from a partition in the cell, but her family says the 28yearold would not take her own life. My sister was full of life, who had so much to live for. Reporter county and state officials promise a thorough investigation surrounding blands arrest and her death. There are unconfirmed report this morning that the Texas Department of Public Safety says it is looking into allegations that the dash cam video may have been edited. At several points it appears to have been edited. At one point a white car appears into view and quickly disappears and then reappears seconds later. The arrest of a homeless man. Oh, man. Oh, my god. Oh, my god. Think they shot him. Ten officers confronted a man last friday following reporting he tried to hit another man with a pole. They fired several rounds of bean bag shots and a taser. Police say Christopher Zareck swung the pole at him. The lapd says its investigating. There are two more reported incidents of lasers being reported at airliners. A Shuttle America regional jet was en route. About five miles west of warwick, the deck was hit by a green light. And a crew on American Airlines said they also got hit by a laser about 20 miles south of the airport. Both planes landed safely and no injuries were reported.
