More than a dozen vehicles caught fire and were destroyed when a wildfire jumped the main road to las have multiple vehicles burned but nearby structures. Motorists were forced out of their cars to save their lives. This was the fiery scene on highway 15 on friday afternoon. A brushfire on either side of the freeway forced traffic to stop and soon more than a dozen vehicles became engulfed in flames. You can still see the cars that caught fire. Theyre burning. Theyre in the middle of your screen. Theyve actually made some drops onto those cars as well. It was terrifying. We could feel the heat on our false. Reporter this 17yearold took this photo as she ran to safety. The water drops continued, but flames jumped from vehicle to vehicle. Passenger cars a semitruck, a car hauler and even a boat were completely destroyed. And before we knew it the winds picked up and they came rushing and they evacuated everybody. We had to run up the hill as far as we could go. Reporter motorists were able to return to their cars once the flamed were extinguished. We couldnt get out. It started on that end and it slowly started to move forward and then it jumped the lanes. Reporter but the fire continued to burn into nearby brush during the evening hours burning structures and forcing evacuation evacuation. Right now the fire is 5 con attend. Drones are a problem. Also in breaking news another wildfire is burning in the northwest. Its burn at least 120 acres. Los angeles sheriffs deputies evacuated 300 campers including 90 girl scouts. The fire is burning uphill right now puttingll phone video captured part of it. Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez was carrying two rifles and a handgun. He opened fire killing two marines, a navy sailor and a Police Officer before he was shot by police. The fbi said theyre treating this as a terror investigation and theyre pursuing 70 leads. The device used by abdulazeez are in want covirginia, and theyre focusing on a trip he took overseas last year that included time in jordan. Intelligence Officials Say theyre looking for any details about who mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez visited, stayed with and communicated with while he was overseas in 2014. Were conducting a thorough investigation to determine whether this person acted alone, was inspired or directed, and well exhaust all efforts on why or how this happened. On friday ed ryan hold said they were looking at his social footprint including media and online postings including blog that are attributed abdulazeez. As investigators dig into the alleged shooters background people who know him say abdulazeez seemed like a normal american kid. He was a wrestler in high school. In a yearbook posting he said his name made people take note of him. He wrote, my name causes National Security alerts. What does yours do. And he graduated from the university of tennessee at chattanooga with a degree in engineering. He was pulled over in april. He had slurred speech bloodshot eyes and there was an odor of marijuana. He had worked for ten days at a facility that operates power plants. The company said he was dismissed because he did not meet ongoing requirements needed for employment and he never had access to sensitive information. Time now for morning roumds with doctors Holly Phillips and tara narula. We begin with wider guidelines for cholesterol lowering drugs known as statins. Back in 2013 the American Heart Association and the American Department of cardiology created new uidelines for who should be on statins. Names such as crestor, lipitor, zocor. The new guidelines included many more people. In total they suggested that about 56 million americans should actually be on statins. And thats roughly 50 of the population between the age 406s hand ages of 40 and 75. What they showed is the new guidelines are actually correct. Ultimately they correctly who was at a high risk for a heart attack and also treating Heart Disease earlier with statins proved to be more cost effective. In 2013 when they were announced they were pretty controversial. Exactly. Is that continuing . I think that people are starting to get used to them in some respects but they certainly generate a lot of controversy for a couple of reasons. One is they really shifted the focus away from ldl records or numbers and targets and shifted toward focusing on risks. So vinita what is your tenyear risk and treating you according to your risk category. So there was some controversy about that risk but the big evidence controversy came from paetschtients are who relatively healthy and those who had a calculated risk of 7. 5 or higher were recommended to be put on a statin. Our concern is are we potentially overtreating a lot of patients by lowering that threshold to 7. 5 and also the calculator that was included in these guidelines to get that 7. 5 risk there were questions whether that would be overestimating the risk. What are they suppose dodd with the guidelines . Theyre guidelines. Thats the big thing. Theyre the roadmap the opening of a discussion. Thats the big thing to remember. No patients is the same. Everybody has a different story, different preferences and it needs to be an individualized discussion. For instance, there may be a patient who has a 7. 5 rif buck they have a Strong Family history and they might want to be more aggressive and so maybe it may make more sense and somebody else has a 7. 5 risk and they say i want to try a lifestyles change first. Soccer fever continues to spread in the United States after the United States world cup victory but as more participate a new study raises concerns over player impact risks. What are the other risks . We dont tend to think of soccer as dangerous sport for kids but actually it causes more concussions than any other sport except for football. What they did was they looked at large study, 2 Million High School practices and games and calculated how many people actually suffered from concussions. One thing they found is heading the ball resulted in more concussions than any other play. That would be passing the ball or dpeenldefending the ball. Most strike i from the study is it wasnt the act of hitting the ball with your head that caused it but more player to player contact. If two players are going up to head the ball they might hit each other or take an elbow to the head. Thats what really was resulting in injuries. Some have proposed banning heading for kids under the age of 14. Is that the answer do you think in. I dont think thats the answer. No parent wants to sit on the sideline clenching their teeth especially at ages where their neck strength is developing and theyre particularly vulnerable. I think what holly pointed out is really true is that you know, while heading the ball was technically associated with about 30 of concussions, it really wasnt the ball and head contact. It with us the athleteathlete contact. And so the authors make the point that what we really should be doing is teaching our Young Athletes about sportsmanship, about better technique, telling our referees to call fouls and be aggressive about enforcing rules and changing the nature of the game so theres less of that body head contact might be more important than suggesting lets ban heading completely. Depression is a difficult tool. A lot of times people dont want to talk about it or they may not even recognize it. Its straight up and a lot of times youre dealing with the weather. Kit be wet and the rocks are slippery. You never know. The heat the cold, you know i had 50mileanhour winds and so you go through the different environments going all the way through maine. Its mind boggling. Never mind the physical challenges which are hard enough but talk about the mental challenge. With all your experience you said even you gets exhausted and wants to give up. Definitely. People assume, scott, hes this super athlete hchl never feels like i do. I feel like everyone else. You dont want to get off your couch or out of bed. There was auntnt a day i didnt feel like i cant do this. How you deal with it is what really makes the difference. You have to put a positive spin on things and think about small goals, think about how you get down the trail. I think you said the most memorable was reaching the highest hill but the darkest moment. You lost 20 pounds you were sleeping one hour a night. This is some unbelievable situations you were in. Yeah. I was forced to dig deeper than i have ever dug before. I think the toughest moment for me and the most memorable is when i was down in tennessee, North Carolina following the border, 5,000foot mountains. And come down a mountain i severe le tore a quad. I have basically two legs. Im trying to get down the hill. You cant do it with two bad legs. Ive dealt with injuries but the pain was so severe i thought i cant do it. The next two days i thought ill walk and power walk through it. It just it will be something i always remember. You dedicated this to your wife and to your mom, why . Well my wife weve been dealing with some issues having children and she went through a very tough miscarriage. Just seeing her go through those challenges really forced me to think about how strong i am. If she can get through that, so can i. And i lost my mother to multiple sclerosis a few years ago. And seeing her lose her abilities over the course of 30 years is something that every time i felt i couldnt go on, every time i felt there was no more movement i thought about both of those, my mom and my wife and how i can get through this much like they got through this. In 1894 the Edison Company first debuted their film and then there was cats boxing. One year later in france they filmed and released this movie of workers leaving their factory. They were given worldwide acclaim even though evidence shows la prince somehow his film years earlier. The proof, the death of one of his characters. He tracked down her grave october 24th of 1888. That to me is concrete proof because you cant create death. When was the first home as we know it presented to the public. That was the problem. It never was. He left to visit friends and family in france. He would never return. Boarding an express train to paris. When his train arrived at his file destination, la prince never got off. He and his bags seemingly vanished into thin air. Theres a great Conspiracy Theory that early cinema was so important that someone would have gone to the length of murdering somebody. This british historian isnt buying the conspiracy but said la prince showed a cinematic eye way ahead of his competitors. He understands to take on the film a high point to look down lots of different people moving and this is what excites him.
