The victim was transported to the UT Medical Center with critical and life-threatening injuries. He later died.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. —
UPDATE (1/7/2020): A man is dead after a shooting at Fuller Avenue and Wilder Place on Wednesday.
The investigation into the shooting has been upgraded to a homicide investigation, KPD said.
The victim has been identified as Harry Upshaw, 44, of Knoxville, Tennessee.
No suspects have been identified at this time.
ORIGINAL STORY: Police are investigating a shooting that left a man seriously wounded at Fuller Avenue and Wilder Place early Wednesday.
Around 2:30 a.m., the Knoxville Police Department responded to a shooting at Fuller Avenue and Wilder Place.
