Joining us now on the phone is Fire Prevention specialist pam tennerman. At 5 00, cal fire had 0 percent containment. How are things looking now . Unfortunately we still have no containment on this fire. Its over 500 acres with two heads on it moving south and southeast. The haft update, at 20 minutes after the hour, the carnegie motorcycle park, a state recreation park had been evacuated because the fire was moving into the park. We have no injuries reported but as video is showing unfortunately, it looks like weve lost a building out there. What are the weather conditions out there . It looks like its windy just from the smoke moving on the live pictures. Yes. You know, weve got wind out there. That is normal for this area. It comes up in the afternoon like this. Yes. That is true. Im sure theyve been getting gusts out there. I dont have wind speed for you but this is just one of the areas where the wind gets on it and it just pushes flames to the ground. Okay. Lightning sparked a brush fire on july 31st, burning 30,000 acres of brush and grass. Containment is just 3 . For the first time the Oakland Police department is letting us watch the officer body cam video from two recent controversial cases. O1 once, at 27th street and Martin Luther king junior way, one, last month on 54 avenue in east oakland. Laura anthony is live now with what she saw. Laura . Reporter police have shown us this video, but not before offering it to the families of the two men killed in these incidents. One family has yet to accept the offer. The other has seen it but does not buy Police Version of events. The video is one piece evidence in a large investigation. The san jose Police Department is under scrutiny after fatally shooting two of three suspects in last weeks murder inside of an office building. Police are searching for the third suspect. Reporter ama, the independent Police Auditor, as well as others, are looking into the fact there were two important points about a shooting of a suspect that happened monday evening. One was that he was unarmed and second he was running away from police officers. Now, police made split second decisions and did have information that the suspect was planning to kill again. Any officer involved shooting, such as sunday ace when a suspect reaches for a gun when officers tried to arrest him triggers an internal investigation. San jose policy spells out rules on the use of force and firearms to apprehend a suspect. Monday nights encounter where the 40yearold was shot in the back, running from police raised concerns. San francisco and los angeles District Attorneys filed civil action against the company, claiming the ride service is misleading the public about its drivers background checks. And his counter part filed against uber in december. This new document actually lists the criminal back grounds of dozens of the drivers, most from la larks but some from San Francisco. What is more, District Attorney gascone says many former sex offenders wont show up on the system. It happened just after 5 00 a. M. On august 8th. Detectives believe the robber is in his late 20s, standing about 59 and weighs about 160 pounds. This is how a highspeed chase ended in oakland. Police say the driver of the stolen ford lost control of the car being pursued and plowed into a house on 82 avenue. No one was home at that time. The driver was arrested, after a short foot chase. Reporter there are plans in place for a replacement. State and local leaders are concerned about damage to other bridges and roads, plus changes to flood flows. The way to approach it is fixing the pluming in the delta. That is why, that is probably not likely to happen on a short term.
