Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd has announced plans to begin exporting to Vietnam from 2024, as part of its strategy to enhance export operations in the ASEAN region. The company will ship 'made-in-India' kits to Vietnam for final production. The newly inaugurated parts expedition centre at the Volkswagen group's headquarters in Pune has an initial capacity of 27,000 car sets annually for Vietnam, with the potential to scale up to 40,000 car sets.
