And what is that timeframe . The totals will be significant and the snow is already coming down. In addition to the snow gusty wind upwards of 60 Miles Per Hour in the lower ridge and 100 and the higher peaks will be creating whiteout conditions which means near zero visibility to no visibility on the road. The National Weather service is advising against travel calling the conditions potentially life threatening. It is too dangerous and not worth it. As far as the snow levels they could be reaching below 2000 feet by the weekend. But take a look at this. 3000 feet were talking about the snow level. We could see nearly 28 inches in those elevations. In the meantime elevation 6000 feet or higher could see several feet likely reaching 9 to 10 total feet. This timeframe has started between now and it will continue into friday and saturday with those blizzard warnings in full effect through sunday morning.
