Israels Main International airport ben gurion is operational but flights have been limited since last weekend, complicaing foreign nationals being able to leave the country. Police say they got a call about a theft in a Shopping Center off of i80 near auto mall parkway. An officer tried to pull over the suspected thief who sped away. But then that driver lost control and hit an suv and a cement truck. The officer tried to arrest that driver. This is video. You can see the woman appears to pull away. Thats when the officer punches her. Vallejo police say the driver was resisting arrest, which is why the officer had to use force. Officers say the passenger also ran away, by bystanders caught up with her. The driver and passenger are now under arrest. Police say they found at least 2,000 worth of stolen merchandise in their car. A reminder for anyone headed north on 101 on the peninsula today, this weekends closure impacts drivers all north bound las between wibble avenue have been shut down since friday night. What do they see happening next with capitol hill, with our involvement with israel . Where do we go . The interesting thing is theyre not that far apart. You have National Security adviser Jake Sullivan who is saying their focus now is on securing the release of the hostages. Its believed that some americans are among the hostages. And also securing the safe passage of civilians, including u. S. Civilians who are in gaza right now. That is a top priority for Lindsey Graham who announced on the show he will be traveling to saudi arabia to be talking to leaders there, to try to get a peace deal that were in the works, back on track. That deal was aimed at isolating iran. And so notably, senator graham said he thinks that biden is doing a good job handling this crisis right now. Now, when you talk to senator graham, his language is more forceful when he talks about iran, for example. He has talked about the need to bomb their oil locations if iran engages in provocations in this moment. So he takes that step, whereas you dont hear Jake Sullivan saying that. But what really struck me is both of them, in agreement, they stand shoulder to shoulder with israel. They also want to see israel follow international law. So the world watching and waiting to see what happens next, as israel has signaled this ground offensive could be imminent. As you know, when we see the High Pressure building, that tends to warm us up and clear us out as far as sunshine goes. Daytime highs in the 80s. She says shes found identical fivestar reviews on businesses copied on other sites, using different, likely fake profiles to post the copy cats. Its just saturated with fakery. Its a simple majority of the house makeup without democratic interference. So republicans adjourned until next week when they will try once again. You set the table, because you mentioned it takes that 217. Normally 218, but right now 217 because there are a couple of vacancies, to get that majority without going to democrats. The problem there when Kevin Mccarthy was vacated, if you will. So they are trying to get this all together. Its been going on for 13 days. Theyre looking now to find some way to get going. But so far, this republican conference, as its called, has just been one fractured group of people. Theyre just all over the map. They cannot agree on any one person. Yeah. And Steve Scalise backed out himself because he couldnt meet that math. And it seems like jim jordan potentially is facing the same math problem reaching that 217. So why okay. So republicans seem to not be able to agree. So i assume that republicans and democrats cant come to an agreement to have a bipartisan compromise . Is that Wishful Thinking . Look at it this way, if republicans and democrats come together, that means were power sharing. That means that democrats have a whole lot more power than they did as just the minority. Do you really want to do that if youre a republican . Do you want to go to that length, to do speak, just to keep your speakership . It would mean perhaps a cospeakership. So these are the kinds of things right now that republicans have to be pondering, as they try to get through this mess, which you mentioned scalise had a shot at it, couldnt get enough votes. Jordan had a shot, couldnt get enough votes. Theyre going to try again with jordan come monday or tuesday. And trump is in support of jordan. That could either help or hinder him. Remains to be seen. So where do we go from here . This cant last forever, can it, because they cant pass votes. We have aid for israel, aid for ukraine is proposing. And how about the budget .
