Details still coming in, but so far Officials Say that a shirtless man with a holstered handgun went into the wisconsin State Capitol yesterday demanding to see Governor Tony Evers before he was arrested for openly carrying a firearm into the capitol. Authorities say he later bailed himself out of jail, and hours after the first incident, returned to the State Capitol exterior, this time armed with a loaded ak47 style rifle as well as a collapsible police style baton. Authorities say the man was taken into custody for a psychiatric evaluation. Were also told that at the time of the incident, the governor was not in the capitol, which does not have metal detectors. And this is just the latest high profile incident involving an elected official. Last year the governor was allegedly on a hit list which also purportedly included Senate Minority leader Mitch Mcconnell as well as michigan governor gretchen whitmer. Stephanie, what did they find . Lester, these medications have been prescribed for years to treat diabetes. Its only recently that theyve been taken in the case of ozempic off label to lose weight. This is the first large study of Adverse Reactions among nondiabetic patients. The results show a higher risk of gastrointestinal issues compared to different weight loss medication. Specifically, a ninetimes higher risk of pancreatitis, more than four times higher risk of a bowel obstruction, and a more than 3. 5 times higher risk of stomach paralysis. The side effects are rare, according to the study, but doctors say patients who are not diabetic or obese may want to weigh the risks differently. Novo nordisk, the maker of ozempic tells nbc news it stands by the safety of its products, which includes labels about these possible side effects. The company also noting that some of the data for this study were collected before this product was on the market.
