Students say fights broke out outside on the basketball courts which led to the entire school being locked down. Police and paramedics swarming James Lick High School in san jose. Two students stabbed at least once on campus and taken to the hospital. Several kids telling us it happened outside of p. E. Class. I was Walking Around the school toward the back. All i seen was a bunch of kids running and screaming. Reporter this video has been circulating around campus and was shared with us by students showing two separate altercations on the basketball courts that at some point led to a stabbing. We talked with one student who was inside the weight room when the fight started on the other side of the door. I see my teacher run outside. She was on the walkietalkie. She was like, oh, theres a fight, theres a fight. I went outside and i seen two people getting jumped from our school. After she was like get paper towels because of all the blood. Reporter he said it looked like one was stabbed in the back, the other in the arm. The school was on lockdown for over an hour until administrators released the students early. Concerned parents rushed to campus to pick up their kids. Its scary. Theres a lot of things going on nowadays, that we need to be more cautious with our kids. I think the school needs to be more on top of protection for our kids and better communication. Reporter police are still looking for the people responsible.
