We are following breaking news in the south bay. Firefighters are battling a brush fire along Mount Hamilton road. Not far from the grand view restaurant. We are told it has already burned ten acres. No word if structures are threatened. Well keep you posted on whats going on with that fire. But it is a reminder of what we have going on in the south bay. We have been spared so far. But little ones are going on and its a good reminder. The weather pattern will stay warm and dry. Breezy in the hills at night and temperatures during the day are expected to get hotter as we approach monday and tuesday. And it is actually pretty mild outside right now. We are at 66 degrees in san jose. More wind east of downtown. Up toward Mount Hamilton. Temperatures there actually in the hills east of san jose in in liore. Lso stin the 70s about 59 des in san rafael. D patchy fog lurking there west of san frano. At. Patchyouds and start tomorrow, tempures climbing through the 80s inland around noon. Interesting changes late day. Well see high temperatures for the inland east bay as warm as the mid 90s but also increasing clouds. Which may lead to a slight chance of showers late tomorrow. Into early monday. Notice the thunderstorms over the sierra. The upper air pattern is pretty complex right now. As we have low pressure in southern california. And the counterclock wise rotation around that in the north side of the low bringing some of that moisture away from the sierra. And toward the bay area during the day tomorrow. Not so much to start the day. But look at sunday night into monday. Watch how the shower chances pass on by. We dont expect a lot of rain. The air over the bay area is qudry. The top concern would be if we have any lightning strikes associated with the isolated thunderstorms. So the window well be watching will be tomorrow night into early monday as the band lifts off toward the north. Notice any chances of rain underneath what you saw in the futurecast expected to be minimal at best. So it is more of fire danger concern now, considering that during the we will see mpures clim to the mid to r 90s inland ay. Aping out to be the hottest f the week. Trivalley. Morgan hill should benear 100 degrees. Mid 70s San Francisco. Mid 80s in oakland. 90s around san jose. And wednesday, probably the close runner up to the hottest day of the week. From there, well see temperatures drop off. Watch the temperature trend. Livermore going into thursday and friday. Things cool down. As High Pressure starts to weaken. So once we pass wednesday and thursday, after four to five days of the hot temperatures, we begin to get that cooling arriving as we head toward the weekend. So for San Francisco, warmest days of the week. Will be the first half of the week. Should see mid 70s on tuesday. Notice the wording monday. Isolated showers which is just fine. The chance that we might see isolated lightning strikes. And fire danger certainly would be elevated with the warm nights and hot days. Well be watching that closely as we head into the beginning of the week. All right. Thanks. Anthony flores here for sports. The giants need to heat up like the weather because they are cold.
