This one is from abbeyjoyner12 she says, my brother put quick mac and cheese in the microwave without water. This is all that remained afterwards. Not a nothing the microwave concept is sort of obsolete at this point. Jimmy i think the concept, i get that, right . I still think the idea, its a a faster way of cooking. Yeah. She says, i made ranch dip and wanted my boyfriend to try it, so i dipped my pinkie finger in it for him to taste. He wasnt paying attention and thought my finger was a baby carrot you could hear the crunch when he bit down. Oh [ laughter ] jimmy it is around the same size, man. The old bone nibbler [ laughter ] im familiar, very familiar. This next one is from robinstur she says, one thanksgiving, my daughter came into the kitchen and said, whats this for . as she pushed the ovens selfclean button. The oven locked. Heat automatically went up to 500 degrees for three hours. The turkey was a pile of ashes and we had to get a new oven. And a new daughter. Jimmy yeah, thats crazy i remember that thing though, that selfcleaning button. Some metal ash you know, that was the end of it, man. It didnt work thats what needs to be updated. You need to be able to stop the selfcleaning mode once you press that button. Jimmy no, i think that has been invented. Really . Jimmy sure maybe my oven is just an antique. Yeah, its, you know, we made this we actually shot this movie almost 2 1 2 years ago. Jimmy wow. It was kind of strange, its finally now coming out, it is almost more relevant its like we wrote this three weeks ago. And its such a it really is, people are worth saving, love wins. Just talking about we all even if its just on zoom, were coming back together and it just felt like, whats going on in the world, what this movie stands for, were like, we cant just we want people to see the movie, i think its so happy and funny, its what people kind of need right now. Maybe and james corden does the voice. Jimmy oh, hes great at one point he said, do i just kind of clorox wipe the earth of humans, and start over . Jimmy gosh and really, its about what i would do if i had three more days and i want to make things right with george, who is like my true love, that got away, played by bobby cannavale. Jimmy oh its really sweet, its really funny, and i just i really love this movie jimmy its got a lot of heart in it, too, because you go, oh, yeah, and by the end, youre like, come on. Its just well done, well directed, well written, well acted. But i was going to ask you, is it trickier to play kind of taking it down, like, a notch . Its like, okay, just go in normally like, melissa, just open the door or do you have to go, like, well, heres the way i if i was being funny, i could open the door. Theres a scene in the movie, it opens the movie. I have a dog in a baby bjorn which is like two seconds before were about to shoot, and i was like, can we get a baby bjorn can i put the dog in . Bens like, dont put the dog in the baby bjorn. It will never match. The dogs want to get out. Were gonna be here for six hours. Jimmy were already over budget now hes like, yeah, no baby bjorn. But did it start the seed of trying to see what the new reimagining of the show would be i think all of us getting dropped back into that iconic hallway with the red lockers, in that garb again, and with you, it was kind of epic and it kind of sparked interest, especially because reboots were kind of coming back but something about it was kind of magical with you. And i think we all were kind of thinking, if it can be done right. We want to do it justice but if it can be done right, then we may all be in. Jimmy i thought it would be fun to revisit some classic scenes, and just hear what you guys think of these. If you dont mind, just a couple of our favorites. Not only was a choreographing this fight scene here, but people split screen it with the rocky 4 balboa drago fight jimmy it holds up. That fight would never happen in our time now two kids on our set, we would have stunt doubles, a stunt coordinator. Padding padding, there would have been cuts. That was legit good point. We pushed each other, fought each other it was the real deal jimmy it was well done there were teenage hormones happening. Jimmy it was kind of insane oh, my god. You guys jimmy right . My next clip, this is prom it was kelly and zacks first kiss tiffani and markpaul, do you remember shooting this were you nervous you were kids. Totally i completely remember. I remember that sweatshirt, it became such a big deal markpaul, were you nervous . I didnt have a resume of people i had kissed up until that point so one of my very first kisses was on miss bliss with stevie the rock star. So you might have been, like, my second kiss so i was probably nervous. You want to make sure youre doing it right, and that you are not being offensive with your breath or some other things that might pop up you were a total gentleman. You still are. Were back at bayside high, which takes place in this fictitious town in california. Zack is the governor of california, still married to kelly, who is obviously the first lady jessie is now a guidance counselor at the school. Im an athletic director, and those are essentially our roles. We come across a new group of kids, some of which have been bussed in, now, this new program thats been implemented by the state, by yours truly over there and now it introduces these new dynamics weve never seen at bayside, with class warfare. Privilege issues that have never been discussed because were no longer on saturday morning jimmy also, there may be some pretty special cameos from a few faces along the way.
