Reporter here on the street, it is definitely something of interest right now because if San Mateo County along with San Francisco and marin have to transition out of the red tier and into the purple tier with the rest of the bay area, it will mean a lot of changes and stronger restrictions. It would mean an end to Indoor Dining in those three counties and return to outdough only services for gyms and houses of worship. Indoor shopping would be licketlimited to 25 capacity instead of 50 they are joenjoying right now a curfew from 10 00 p. M. To 5 00 a. M. Christmas week. I think win it helps us to control the virus we have to accept it. Its take a hit now so we are better off later on. Reporter here is what we are watching. Stale in the red tier, counties cant have more than seven new covid cases per 100,000 people. Latest number for san mateo is four cases per 100,000 and marin six cases per 100. If youre asymptomatic, you might be able to get tested through your doctors office. My daughter did that last week. Or get tested if youre willing to pay for it. Nbc bay area checked with a local pharmacy here in the county and that costs 139 as an example. People getting tested this morning in san ramon had booked their appointment days ago. We go into tomorrow, there will be a cold front nearing the bay area but by the time it gets here, the rain dries up. So it will pass with some breezy winds and once again we are missing out on the rain and also not expecting much in the way of sierra snow. Going into the weekend we are still in this pattern where High Pressure is blocking any chance of getting some rain but we will start to see more clouds by the end of the weekend. We check out our wind speed forecast. This will be the most notable thing we will see by tomorrow morning. Once the cold front moves closer we will see the coastal winds picking up and San Francisco seeing gusts up to 22 Miles Per Hour. Look what happens as we head through thursday, thanksgiving day.
