Lock down the entire country for up to six weeks. With the government paying people and businesses for the money theyll lose. If theyre coming up with package to help support the Small Business during the type of lock down, it depends on what level. If we make the employees whole and pay bills. Not making money wont bother me. If i can participate in squashing the virus. Hes been the owner of the restaurant for 15 years. He says he wants to be part of the solution. Despite the incredible damage the pandemic already has done to his business. Financially, were down significantly. Five years ago in downtown san jose. Shelly opened the painted lady salon. Covid put pressure on her if many ways. Not just as a Business Owner but a mother. Teaching a child during distance learning. She find it hard to believe the government would pay Small Businesses for losses during a National Lock down. Regardless of political party. Still, she isnt opposed to the idea. As much as i hate to give up freedom. I feel like a lock doup would be effective. Other than someone saying you are essential and youre not essential. We can move forward it would be better than the struggle of back and forth. The coronavirus adviser argues just that. A four to six lock down would control the pandemic and get the economy back on track. Both george and shell sli say theyre keeping an open mind. Lets adapt. Keep going. The group safer san jose says it tracked a suspect car as it was following the postal truck. Through the web of hundreds of cameras in the neighborhood. The group was able to give investigators the license plate. Its a Neighborhood Watch on steroids. We ran into the mailman as he made rounds. He was still missing his side window. No window . Neighbors say the suspect was so brazen he broke in as people were on walks. And nearby golfers working on their drives. Angry. Unsafe. Its just not right. The situation is hard. Sharks are threatening to leave town. The team sent a letter to the fans that letter lays out the frustration the organization is having with the city of san jose. All about the project. The sharks say the influx of tens of thousands of tech workers combined with plans to narrow the streets in front of the shark tank and close surrounding parking lots could make it impossible for fans from various other south bay cities to come in to the shark tank for hockey games or concerts. Development for housing. Im hoping that will be creative. And make sure our kid can afford to live here. In the pandemic people are leaving the city. Going to the suburb. Is there way to bring them back . I think there is. People come here because its beautiful. And theres opportunity. Commuting is not an ideal solution for many folks. But the city has something to offer. Im hoping that in the post pandemic world we can bring folks back. Not just because of housing affordable. But because of the businesses. Because of our open spaces. Because of the jobs that are here. In the opportunity. I think its all integrated. And it is an opportunity for us to rebuild with equity and family.
