Yes, the first storm of the season moving in and its really great to see although were not seeing a lot of rain with it, its going to be spotty. Were starting out dry as you get ready to head out the door. Were going to see some gusty winds throughout this morning into the day. And those high winds and chilly temperatures continuing. By this afternoon well start to see some spotty rain around the bay area and then another chance of showers on sunday, so ill be talking all about this with the time line coming up in a few minutes. We still dont have official results in six states including nevada, arizona, georgia and pennsylvania. But overnight joe biden narrowly passing President Trump and georgia. Talk about razor thin here. He is leading by just more than 1,000 votes with ballots still left to be counted. Here is a look at nevada. Biden is ahead by fewer than 12,000 votes. Hillary clinton won the state in 2016. Although the results are not finalized, people are confident they will celebrate a win and gathered in San Francisco last night n. A planned celebration of President Trumps defight, gene, ballots are still being counted. Topicalcal democrats like pelosi are urging voters to trust the process. At the end of the day the president and the Vice President shake hands and say to america we have a result. Pelosi says she expects a transition transitional power. President trumps legal team says its biggest concern is ballots arriving after election day. Some republicans also say the mailin Voting System adopted across the country because of the pandemic is creating real concern for this election. Under normal circumstances if someone proposed that, i think there would be a commission studied for a couple years and whatever their findings were would have to be ratified and implemented over many years and instead we went to this mass mail balloting system so there are concerns for fraud. Peterson was sentenced to death in 2004 for murdering his wife and unborn son. A state court overturned the death sentence over questions of the jurors and ordered a second look. Were getting a new indication that millions more californians might see a lot more stricter covid19 restrictions in the future. Looking to Contra Costa County, now chp overnight gave a wind advisory for the bay bridge and san mateo bridges saying they were gusty for their squad cars traveling across the span. Were going to start to see spotty rain for parts of the north bay. Here we are at 1 30 and not most of the bay area will see those showers yet. Moving into coastal Sonoma County and sonoma at 1 30, 2 00. Very light, spotty rain at about 7 00. And still a lot of the bay area missing out on that, but it looks like we could start to see heavier cells moving in around midnight and some may contain heavy downpours along with thunder and lightning. Well watch out for that with the possibility of this very cold rain coming through. Tomorrow we take a break from the rain and then as we head into sunday another round of light showers will be possible, and so well see once again another round of some spotty rain, very hit or miss.
