Of course, always busy lately with that fire danger, you guys. And this week we are going to go into some on again off again fire danger for you. You are going to be getting the alerts on your phones. I wanted to make is simple, put it on one graphic so you can see whats going to be happening with this. And if you bring your eyes off to the north you can see that red color. Thats where we have the red flag fire warning in effected for the north bay hills and then you see also this orange color. Thats the fire weather watch for the east and the south bay hills. Now, fire weather watch, its the lower of the categories. So the fire danger would be the least there. But all in all, we are looking at more fire danger. I wanted to underscore that the chance of wind, the best possibility is up at two to 3,000 feet. You have to be up in the mountains to get some of this wind. We will see the on and off gusts of 15 to 35, sustained wind 5 to 15 miles an hour. Pinpointing the exact day with the highest wind chances right now the way things look, i have it on thursday. By thursday morning, that would be the chance we would have the highest fire danger. You could see this red and magenta color with the key at the top. Those are 40 to 50mileperhour gus gusts that can be building into the north bay hills, also close near mount diablo. Thursday looks like the higher risk. What about the problem we have been in . We cant get rainfall in here. Dry, hot weather, dry winds. Well, there is a link between la nina. We are seeing la nina develop right now, and what happens with la nina is it develops this stronger region of High Pressure in the pacific. So this is pushing that storm track way off to the north and keeping our best rain chances over seattle. Now, with la nina we can see the storm track lower to bring us some better rain chances. So all hope is not lost, but we have to get that storm track to lower and it doesnt look like thats going to happen the next seven days. La nina, this developing strong High Pressure, is why we cannot get the rain in here right now. So, as we move through tomorrow morning dry to start, temperatures in the 50s, mostly clear skies. Overall, a pretty good day coming our way. Through the east bay 56, San Francisco 54 and the north bay at 55. Tomorrow temperatures stay pretty much the same, so down here in the south bay this brings us to 86 in san jose, also 88 in morgan hill. Right through the east bay 90s near pittsburg and antioch. Through the peninsula and we are also at 81 in redwood city. We drop off into some 60s close to San Francisco. We have that ocean breeze out of the west at 12 leaving the marina at 66 degrees. For the north bay we are at 88 here in novato, 89 clearlake and 87 napa. The extended forecast here in San Francisco, drops temperatures off gradually by this weekend. We get the cooler 60s moving back in with 67 on saturday. For the inland valleys also starting to drop things off eventually. Once we hit thursday the best chance of those gusty winds we start to see things drop off friday, 79 and the weekend lowtomid 70s. We cant get the rainfall in here but for the upcoming weekend we will have some cooler weather and i think thats a Little Something to look forward to on this monday right now. Do you think this is our last week of red flag warnings, or are we not in the clear yet . I would say we are not in the clear yet. We just have to get some rainfall in here. Even though we are seeing little bounces of wind moving in right now, its just enough to set off the warnings. Until we get rainfall in here, we could be in this on again off again situation until that first rain right now. Okay. Thanks for the heads up. Thanks, jeff.
