A group came to support anderson and post their conservative views on social media, but they say violence is not the answer. The violence needs to end. Anderson and his supporters did take the stage briefly, but the rally abruptly ended after about 10 minutes. San Francisco Police were on hand to separate the two sides, but the rally organizers were clearly outnumbered. We dont need those people in San Francisco. We dont need a new fascist movement in this country. What we need is working class solidarity against that kind of rhetoric which is divisive and which pits the working class against one another. Within just the last few minutes looking at the last few red flag warnings has been allowed to expire. Maybe the bit of good news the fire did flare up in vacaville right now. You can see the last of those red flag warnings are off the map. And notice the wind speeds have come down considerably in that area in eastern napa county and out towards northern and western solano county. Diablo unified school district. They argued many students are not responding well to distance learning. There are kids in private schools going back monday and we need our kids back ipschool. Theres not a huge danger from covid for them. It can be done in a rational way that keeps everybody safe. The district has added a special meeting this wednesday to discuss the push to reopen. Weve now learned a Memorial Service will held on monday for fallen firefighter jason cortez. He was killed last week during a training exercise. He was a husband and a father to two boys. The celebration of life will be held at oracle park in 10 30 in the morning. A procession will follow for a private family funeral. A violent night leaves three people dead and several more injured. All started outside on south capital avenue. Six people shot, two of them died. Investigators now working to piece together a motive for the attack and identify a suspect or suspects. Hours later more violence. This just before 4 00 in the morning. Police responded to a stabbing near coyote road, rez kejs areas in south san jose. The victim was rushed to the hospital, but he died there. Police have not released a suspect description or any information about the victim. Today marks 31 years of the deadly loma prieta earthquake. The shaking lasted for 15 seconds. It caused the bay bridge to collapse as you see right there, other roadways collapsed as well. There was of course massive destruction in the marina. Game three of the world series between the giants and as also delayed due the shaking. And wherever you were on that day if you were in the bay area you remember where you were. I was in section 17 at the park about to watch the World Series Game that was pushed back for a week or two as i recall because of the earthquake. They tried to stay 6 feet apart. This particular house will get a new coat of paint and the back deck will be repaired. Volunteers say the work doesnt just benefit the family especially in light of covid19. Were so delighted to be part of this community to work together. So this is unfortunate. Before the rain really starts to move into the bay area, storms missing to the north. We continue to deal with these patterns of dry wind. So for the meantime for San Francisco well see the breeze is picking up. We think monday night into tuesday. Notice San Francisco temperatures staying in the 70s. Thursday could be another round. And you see at times breezy on your forecast. Highs will be running a bit cooler but again the real forecast here is the wind speed and the direction. Again, it looks like tuesday and thursday and possibly next weekend could be dealing with more fire weather watches unfortunately around the bay area. Still no signs of any significant rain.
