I have, you know, a search but was this something was comedy something that was always seth yeah. An interest of yours, even, you you actually you know, youve talked about the fact, last time know, before recent history . You were here, about dating yeah, i mean, i just always loved comedy again. And i imagine dating during you know, i watched comedy shows quarantine is incredibly hard. Have you managed your way around as a kid with my dad it at all . And i sort of like, middle no. School and high school was sort seth yeah. For the first two months it was easy you know, march and april. Of the Comedy Central era, i you know, date, have fun, do guess, where i was just watching stuff, shake it, and shimmy. Everything on Comedy Central seth uhhuh. But by april, may, june, i watched snl growing up july, august, september, five months, im like, huhuh, dont so, ive always had an interest. And then, you know, i just had the opportunity to do fun stuff come over here. Seth really. Like the espys skit that we did. So you just cut it off completely and those are the things i yes really, like, enjoy doing, so seth but you have stayed in the city, correct . Thats kind of how i got into it i live here now seth would people on sort of seth but you never went anyone else . Your high school and college you just you just basketball teams, would they basically have said that Blake Griffin was the funny one . Well, ive gone places. Seth you did post a photo um, i guess it depends on about how you looked when you which guys i definitely went somewhere and thats really something. Seth it always depends on which guys i mean, come on. Exactly okay, okay. I definitely you know, i was always trying to make friends i was in l. A laugh and stuff. But, yeah, i dont know. Okay, okay [ laughter ] i have stuff to do for the show. I think some people may find me funny, but, you know, im sure theres a lot that dont seth yeah. But not for me. Seth my we have a friend in common, neal brennan, who, but every time i go out of the you know, also met you during house, im always squinting and looking. You know, its not even about that espys shoot and, you know, hes a standup business, even though im gone for business comedian, and youve actually im always looking for the business started doing youve done some standup comedy. This is fun because i feel like if you saw your reflection in is this something that you still this, you would see, like, it do would look like what your head yes on Wendy Williams body would i neal has been great to me look like. Hes sort of my comedy mentor, seth . Sort of took me under his wing seth yes and let me see how it really the last time i s works. But i do host a comedy a standup Charity Event every year i wasnt able to do it this year, obviously, but ive done stuff for that neals done that show. So, nothing right now. But yeah, i have gotten on stage. Its its absolutely terrifying, but its always fun. Seth i think its nice for people to hear that you were also terrified by it, because too many people think its unique to them that theyre scared of getting on stage but so thank you for sharing that and letting them know that it is for all people yeah, of course, of course. Seth so your podcast, the pursuit of healthiness what made you do this podcast about this area . Ive always been interested in health and wellness my mom was very into health and nutrition. And you know, my brother and i were, like, the weird kids when friends would come spend the night, we had, like, the healthy cereals and we had to like, take our vitamins in the morning. And i dont think people really wanted to spend the night. So, i think that kind of got me started in the health and wellness world and then, you know, in college i was a health and exercise science major and got approached to do some podcasts here and there. And i really wanted to do this their respective verticals in the health and wellness community. And its been awesome to hear their stories and to learn and you know, if you can walk away taking one thing and adding it to your life that benefits you or your health mentally or physically, then im happy about it seth youve talked to some really interesting people chelsea handler. Karlie kloss ariana huffington, who you guys talked about the idea of, like, a good nights sleep and she was on this show, and we also talked about it and what she told me has really stayed with me as much as anyone who has ever been here has said. Yeah, she i mean, she was unbelievable not only just sleep, but also just the importance of, like, rest too, mental rest. But one thing i loved that she told me was, like, you have to have, like, a sleep routine to get to the place where you can and thats something ive sort of t because my schedules been set we havent been flying all over the place playing games and ive been able to do that and ive definitely seen a difference so, i was i really, really enjoyed my conversation with her and everybody else seth i want to ask before you go about the last dance. I think for everyone it was exactly what we needed when it came out because we were absent of sports. But you were a little disappointed because the last dance robbed you of something yeah, ive been a jordan athlete for almost eight years now and gotten to spend some time around him. And, you know, whenever he tells stories, youre always really locked in. Hes a great storyteller, and he told us the story about Dennis Rodman going to a needing a vacation in the middle of the season and going to vegas. And for so long that was like my goto, like, people are like, whats jordan like . Im like, oh, i got something cool heres this story, and i would just, you know, give them this Dennis Rodman story. And then, as he started to tell this story during the last dance, i was just like, ugh, i dont have, like, that cool story anymore. Like, my goto story where i had everything keyed up.
