Just watch and wait. I just watch. All right, lets get a look at the forecast for us today, kari. Starting out nice and cool this morning. We have a lot of changes ahead in this forecast. Were talking about a cooldown, some more clouds and some of us may even measure some rain. Lets talk about that. As we get started in san jose its a mostly clear start. But then as we look at our High Temperatures youre going to feel that cooldown by this afternoon. Look at our High Temperature as we reach up to 78 degrees in downtown san jose and some low 80s for the south county as well as east san jose. Compare that to the 90s weve had recently. As the sevenday forecast at the bottom of the screen for your microclimate shows those changes well have for at least the next couple of days. As we look at the east bay were reaching into the upper 80s for spots like pittsburg. Oakland will stay in the 60s today. Were also looking at some High Temperatures that will still be warm for some of our inland areas. At the coast its staying cool. Low 60s for much of the peninsula but then you head over to palo alto. Were going to see temperatures in the upper 70s as we check out San Francisco today, expect it to reach into the upper 50s in the marina district. It will be cool there all day. Then we look at the north bay where its as hot as 94 degrees. Were still looking at our widespread temperatures as we go through this forecast. As we are also tracking a lot more of the coastal fog thats going to mean that some of us will have some heavy drizzle at some point as we go into today as well as early tomorrow. As that fog thickens there will be some spots especially along the coastline that could see that drizzle happening long enough to actually measure up to something. So this is going to be what cools us all off as we go into the next couple of days and the potential of measuring some rain will be happening in half moon bay. A few hundredths of an inch. Well talk more about that coming up. Mike, how is it looking right now for the commute . Well, it looks pretty good. A good update. First well look at your maps. I have circled the area, this is the fremont off ramp from westbound 80. The crash has been pushed down to the bottom of the off ramp. No injuries and now no lanes blocked but there are flashing lights so do note that if thats your exit. Also in the area we saw some slowing north 101 getting up north across the golden gate bridge. There are construction crews in both directions. Looks like the north side around vista point, theyre clearing that up. The rest of the bay shows smooth driving for the Speed Sensors, slowing out of the altamont and 87. I told you id show that you area. There may be debris on northbound 87. A crash on the shoulder. Back to you. All right, thank you, mike. 4 49 right now. And developing news out of San Francisco where a teenaged boy is clinging to life after a shooting in the city.
