As police use of force policies are under the microscope across the country, disturbing video of a bay area Police Officer kicking and dragging a woman. The wednesday night encounter was posted to social media. It happened near east santa clara street and 101 in downtown san jose. It appears to show the Police Officer kicking a woman while shes kneeling on the ground during a traffic stop. Sjpd tells us there was a warrant to seize the car because officers had twice tried to stop it, but it sped off. You can see what happens when the video zoomed in. The woman is pinned to the ground, handcuffed and dragged several feet. The other officer has his gun drawn talking to the passenger, who can be heard saying they just bought the car. Josh gil, whom you just saw, shot the video and tells us he saw two children in the back seat of the car as this all unfolded. I just want vus for this woman and her family. Thats the main concern.
