So, i love that theyre in to tiktok and you know, whenever they see me im always like find me a a good one to do and we find it together and we play around with it. And you know, we did i make alex do them every once in a a while. Hes like, what am i doing . Jimmy i know, hes so funny. But the girls are so excited so he gets into it, you know jimmy well, we just saw Charlie Damelio had your sweatshirt on. Shes obviously a giant tiktok star yeah, yes jimmy but shes a big, super duper fan of yours and you were so cool to her. She said that when she met you, it was like it was like her biggest dream come true. And that you i was like, thats a perfect person to meet because she was probably amazing, right . Shes goes, she was beyond amazing. You left a big mark. She came down to my super bowl rehearsal right in the last week before we did the super bowl and and honestly, the girls knew her more than i did my kids knew her more than i did. And you know, this is charlie, shes a big tiktoker. I was like, great. Yeah, bring her down shes into dance and we did on the floor challenge. But she said to me she gave me a big hug and when i started hugging her she cried. And she goes, youre on the top of my vision board [ laughter ] oh, my god it so moved my heart jimmy aw, come on. I have a place in my heart for charlie. Jimmy that is the best yeah shes a sweetheart and a really good dancer too jimmy what has this all been like for you because honestly, every time i see you, youre doing three jobs at once i think it was the last time i saw you, you were finishing, you just finished your amazing halftime show, which ive already told you was insane, like flawless, flawless. It was jimmy flawless thank you jimmy and at one point i was yelling at the screen going, stop you won. [ laughter ] stop dont even risk it just stop just end it and walk away. And then you did more. And i go [ gasps youre really going for it youre raising the bar, man. You crushed it and then you started doing a a movie right after. No, this is what happened after the super bowl, i came to see you. And then i started world of dance. And i had that for a couple of weeks. And then i was going to have off. Remember i told you, i said, i think im going to take some time off. Jimmy but you cant turn your brain off though, right you cant turn oh, no, no, no, no. Jimmy j. Lo off no. You know, i got to do the people thing so it was like, okay, performance at the house, get the lights from the Christmas Lights out on the trees. Lets get some candlesll i loved it yes. You know, we started producing back here. You know, we have other little projects also, were in post on marry me right now. So were finishing that. Theyve been editing that on zoom jimmy are you filming scenes all of it oh, we filmed a scene at the house. Jimmy through zoom a pick up scene yes, through zoom. It was crazy it was crazy jimmy how . Not not the ideal way to make films you dont want to do it. But i was here ,and maluma was in colombia and we were doing this pickup scene that we had to do. And it was like 30 people on zoom watching. Jimmy oh and like the kids helping with the slate [ laughter ] jimmy yeah, isnt that funny . Yeah, i dont mind it jimmy you dont mind listen, ive been making the best of it weve been making the best of it theres been some really, you know, scary anxietyfilled time you know, uncertainty, all of that but im also realizing a lot of things, you know im realizing, you know what, i need to call my mom every day. I need to call her every day even when this is over because ive been speaking to her every single day jimmy lupe yes, lupe jimmy i love your mom. Hi, mom, i love you shes got her thing in atlantic city, you know. And im out, you know, working and we dont connect like that all the time now were connecting all the time and i was like, when this is over and we get back to work, whatever that new normal is, i want to keep that going. You know, i want us to sit down and have dinner together the kids are always in their room, and doing this, and their homework and their afterschool activities and we set a time where were like every night at 7 30, were sitting down and were having dinner jimmy yeah and i love it and then i was like, you know, theres certain things that ive discovered during this time that i definitely want to keep going so in that sense, its been a blessing jimmy there was a whole thing that went on instagram because you posted a photo of you in the gym, which i loved because youre promoting, look, got get out there. You got to do something, work out. Do something but then, in the corner of your thing, people were frightened because there was a man behind you in a window with his mouth, a hand over that was a zoom so imagine, you know, im back there working out cause where we have the zoom set up is right by our garage. And we didnt have a gym in the house. So, we just got a bunch of like we got a bench and a a few weights. And i have my rehearsal mirrors back there for dance rehearsal, which i always did in the house, in the garage and so now jimmy theres a man behind you like this yeah. Yeah hes like, i dont know what he was doing, if he was sneezing or coughing. But it was just like jimmy who was it it was some real estate guy that alex was on zoom with i dont know [ laughter ] but yeah, but weve been working out a lot. And we just kind of reformatted things and we started them on a small warehouse where they have just some producers, and then they walk in and they see the three of us there. So, were with them from the beginning, all the way to the end this time, which is really great. Jimmy its fascinating because, you know, you clearly know how to dance and these dance moves are sort of like flips. Its almost like theyre tricks. Jimmy theyre like floating and, yes its crazy yeah. Jimmy i have never seen anything like it ever. Yeah. Jimmy but its great to watch. We have jimmy its so much fun yeah, its we have some really and every year it seems like they get more athletic and theyre combining different styles together, and more tricks and more things and its not just about a flip or this, its about how you can kind of incorporate it and really create something emotional for people to see. It was called jerry maddens, very italian and very english and i bought i had enough money to buy my own sport coat and not go to goodwill jimmy yeah, this is a big deal and i bought a sport coat in 1975. And while i was buying this, i saw another one, which was blue velvet with red piping and there was a beautiful girl with red hair and purple parachute pants. I said, excuse me, which one should i get . I should have known there was a problem, she said, both. Im too practical to buy two when i need one. But i did, i bought both i went back the next week when it was altered, and she was there. Jimmy ooh. And as happy days was winding down, ron howard was becoming a director. And this was the jacket that i wore in night shift. Jimmy no way yeah, i keep everything its shocking. Jimmy did you ever see that girl again yeah. Weve been married for 42 years jimmy get out of the room thats stacey . Thats right. Yes. Stacey [ laughter and applause it was stacey. And i asked her for a soda and then were together and here we are. Jimmy that is amazing. Oh, i just want to talk about this organization that you started with your daughter no, my daughter started it. Jimmy oh my daughter was you know, is a mother of three boys. Oh, i have to say hello to india, loulou, ace, jules, and august thank you. I know jimmy how cool is that how cool is this zoey is home with jules and august and ace and is watching television and is watching the tragedy of the children along the border and she thought, oh, my god, those could be my sons those could be my children. And started out of out of thin air with two friends, started this organization this is about humanity. And theres no overhead. Theres no office. Theres no secretary not a paper clip they get on buses and they go down to the border and they take care of the children they see what they need. They have the money that they raise. They get gift cards, and then they buy them clothing jimmy wow. Towels, toothbrushes. They built bathrooms theyve redone the tents that they lived in, because they were leaking it is just extraordinary jimmy this is about humanity isnt that beautiful that is amazing. Yeah. Jimmy you know, i got to hear you, because, obviously, im not a stalker, but im just such a fan but you did a thing with iheart for their commencement speeches yes jimmy and it was great thank you jimmy and you had a thing on there about negativity. Yes jimmy and when you have negative thoughts. If a negative thought comes into your mind, it will shut you down it will stomp you. [ clap ] just cold.
