Today the mayor unveiled a ninestep reform plan he would like to see implemented at the Police Department. The mayor is calling for changes on how allegations of Police Misconduct are handled. We need to move investigations of these matters outside the Police Department to an independent body in the city of san jose we have an independent Police Auditor who does not have the power to investigate. She has the power to review investigations that are performed by the police. I am calling for us to bolster investigation external to the department. We reached out to the San Jose Police department, which said the chief is still in the process of reviewing the mayors proposal and wont be available to comment until after his review is complete. Once we hit sunday what i am going to set up on the weather chart is the area of High Pressure in the pacific. At the same time we get a schooler system driving across northern california. This is important because air flows from High Pressure to low pressure. It is going to create a vacuum effect and pull a lot of wind across the bay area. Look at my seven day forecast here in San Francisco. Sunday night we will see wind gusts of 15 to 40 Miles Per Hour. By monday morning, 10 to about 25 Miles Per Hour and 60s here in San Francisco.
