Yeah so we quickly worked with the team at amazon and anthony mandler, the director of our concert film, and put this thing together from our tour last year, the happiness begins tour, and released it on amazon last night so we were able to release some, and there are new songs in the movie, but the new album as a whole, were just going to kind of wait a second and see what all happens but were so thrilled to be able to put this together for fans while theyre at all home and jimmy yeah, that was treating it like an experience jimmy that was great that came out at midnight last night. Happiness continues, which i think is genius, because like, the first documentary that i saw with you guys, that was like aw, there she is again. But this one is what happens once you do come back. Exactly, yeah and it also catches us building this show that we put together for 90some cities and the nerves around that, what its a lot of the behind the scenes cameras are rolling most of the time jimmy for sure so what its like in our dressing rooms and were actually trying to get prepped and ready and us in our own individual settings. And we have like a shared dressing room and then we had three different rooms so we could all at least have our own me time. Jimmy yeah which is important so we didnt, like, go crazy on the road jimmy who has the weirdest preshow ritual oh, joe probably for sure its joe he needs to get slapped jimmy what yeah. I need a good slap in the face need to do some pushups you know, normal things that you would think before the stage, you know. Jumping jacks. I usually try to blast queen we couldnt obviously get the rights to have that in the film so we had to figure out a different solution, but [ light laughter ] jimmy what song is it in the movie . When we hear baby shark, is that supposed to be queen . No, baby shark is a a different situation. Jimmy what do you mean well, in this quarantine and, you know, leading the workouts at my house, i created a workout using certain songs. And baby shark is one of those songs. And its actually really effective. So if you need a good workout tip to get the heart rate up, a good pump going before you work out, i can show you actually jimmy i would love to see this baby shark workout baby shark workout. Are we all doing this workout with you right now yeah, you probably should i mean all right its a good workout ive got to play it. Here, joe, can you play it youre the deejay. My feeling right now, jimmy, is i wake up every day. When i know that im healthy, when i know the people in my life are healthy, then its going to be a great day. Is it tricky for you where did you end up i mean, is your wife setting up the lighting for you like my wife is well, the engineers came and they set up a studio for me in my home office you know, ive got to do a a bunch of stuff before the show ive got to turn on different lights and then dial in so i can hear the control room and all kinds of stuff, but its the other stuff, all of the interviews were doing using zoom were always trying to find different places in the apartment. And my wife has become like my technical manager, my lighting director, my set designer. She i said, i got to do an interview with jimmy fallon and she came in here and started arranging things and moving the lights and the looks great, doesnt it . Im like, okay, where are the kids not going to run through . So my wife, along with being set decorator, lighting director, technical manager, is also the dog handler during that time when im on the air. Its going to happen some night. Some night its going to be good evening [ barking jimmy and youll hear it absolutely, yeah i saw stefan, who we also love hes an anchor on local nbc news, posted a photo of his setup, which i want to say is in like a closet in his attic. Attic, yeah jimmy yeah, and its like and he had his two babies, one behind the camera, one in front of the camera. Hes like future journalists, future photographer. It warmed my heart because it immediately made me think of a picture that was taken when i was an anchor in chicago at the cbs station and the two boys had come down to the studio. And i took this picture on the set with them. And one of them, i clearly saw he had the bug for the camera, and of course, thats stefan, who went on into the news business, but yeah, it was really heartwarming to think back god, i remember when you guys were little and we did pictures like that. And now theres my grandson. Jimmy thats wild. While youve been covering this youve been doing such a great job. Thanks. Jimmy i just want to thank you on behalf of millions of people that turn to you and need someone to give them the straight news and kind of lift our spirits. And youve been doing a great job.
