A majority of cases are linked to a Senior Citizen facility near kirkland in seattle. Late this afternoon, berkeley has confirmed one person tested positive for the virus. The patient was in a foreign country that had an outbreak and has quarantined at home since returning. This is the second case inial immediate a county. Santa clara county has 11 confirmed cases. Officials wont say yet how they came down with the virus. They do say they studied it enough to know youre at a higher risk of getting the virus if youre older. Starting at age 50, with the risk rising if youre 60, 70, 80. You get the idea. Here are some suggestions they have to stay safe. We are recommending that people at higher risk avoid Mass Gatherings such as parades, sporting events and concerts where large numbers of people are within arms length of one another. She started taking pictures of her own children. She was good enough and others began asking her to help her take their pictures. She started making money at it. Something happened and money wasnt the point any more. Hospitals, like Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical center are experts when it comes to saving precious lives. But when it comes to saving precious moments, Karen Henrich is the one they turn to. You look amazing. Reporter on this day karen, a professional portrait photographer, is shooting the solomon family. 3yearold bennett has a rare neurological disorder. Makeup and wardrobe. Theres that smile. Reporter but like all the children with serious illnesses and their families karen shoots, this session and all the pictures are free. Perfect. Theres never any cost to any family. Its all a gift. Reporter karen says it all began by chance. 16 years ago she was scheduled to do a newborn session for a friends son when things took an unexpected and devastating turn. He was in transition, he was passing. So he and to watch the emotions of my friends, it was unconscionable to think about what they were going through and just to be able to document for them a bit of what they werent seeing, because what i was seeing was their love and their connection and their courage. Reporter karen saw in that moment what she could do for other families in similar situations. She started a nonprofit, moment by moment, to fund the sessions. Last year alone, karen and a team of photographers captured more than 750 families at hospitals, hospices and camps all over the bay area. I say its honestly a blessing. It is tlruly, i feel like ive been given a gift. Parker, are you leading the way . Reporter it can be difficult emotional work. But karen says each time she sees how worthwhile it is to the families. When these families get these pictures back, theyre indelible images of where their child was or is in terms of their termination. Thats amazing. Reporter the solomons say they are fr forever grateful for kindnesses such as karens. In bennetts case, his future is uncertain, making the present more valuable than ever and capturing it priceless. Its a wonderful thing she does. This is one of those stories that i do that its a special its this right combination, you know. Shes a great photographer as well, but she has a connection with these people that she meets. So she can get to know them quickly and find those moments that show what that family is about right at what she does an families grateful for having that. That lasts forever. Yeah. You can see as we head through wednesday morning were going to start off mostly sunny, a little bit milder here with upper 40s and low 50s for the trivalley, peninsula, south bay. Got you down to 46 in the north bay. San francisco 49. And the east bay at 47. So, with High Pressure continuing to remain in place, again, thats the weather system thats bringing in the heat. We will have some isolated 80s tomorrow. 80 in east san jose, 80 in gilroy. Over to cupertino, got you at 78. For the east bay also warm here, no surprise for you. Back in concord, pittsburgh, antioch, danville, 70s to 80. In the bay with the dryer direction coming out of the north it will boost our temperatures up to 79 in free mont. Also 76 in oakland. The coast line, it will be chilly in Half Moon Bay at 63. But you head over to smat 75. Palo alto 78. San francisco some isolated heat in the mission. Otherwise 63 in the marina. And right here up through the north bay we had 81 in ukiah. Thats my warmest temperature tomorrow. 78 in novato, and 79 in napa. So looking great at least comfort wise as we move through tomorrow in the forecast. Its not going to stay like this all week. Lets go ahead and fast forward to the next change just because we can. Its called a forecast. Lets look. By 11 00 thursday night, there is this storm system lining up. I do think by friday in advance of that cloud cover increases, so quite a bit different there on friday. Then once we hit saturday morning, hergo, cold front moves over for right into about 10 30 in the morning. So on my extended forecast on saturday, trace amounts to about a tenth of an inch on saturday. Sunday, monday and tuesday 40 to about 50 possibilities of some showers. Much cooler 50s in San Francisco. For the inland valleys, 80 tomorrow down to 60s. Friday, saturday and also on sunday.
