Christina marlow put a plea out on twitter with a one or twobedroom Affordable Apartment they would rent out to the family. I came across an nbc articles and i read it and i thought we can do it. You cant let this family go through christmas final and have these horrible things happen and the community not rally around them. And as a parn as a parent my first thought was you dont want the daughters to be associating with this and it is magical and giving and for that to happen right before christmas, i didnt want that to be what they remembered about this christmas. Reporter Christina Marlow said it is a teachable moment for her children. Her children know they are privileged and want to do anything for those in need. Now the marlows want the same Christmas Joy for the fire victims so they felt the need to reach out. And also christina told me she spoke to several of the other wives in the sharks family and asked them to bring any donations they want to give to the family for the next sharks game on friday here against the kings. Still with cool air but we dont see any rain as of yet. This is a look at satellite and radar. A lot of clouds extending off the coast and getting ready to move in into this evening. As of right now, once again, were seeing some times of sunshine, live look outside in dublin and so if you are going to be heading out for lunch you do still need a jacket as our temperatures only reach the low 50s and a mix of sun and clouds. More clouds moving in into the evening as we continue to cool off back into the mid40s. Hourbyhour, this shows what the radar could look like and splotches of green here and there showing spotty rain into the evening but more widespread rain holds off until overnight and we wake up to some rain basically early tomorrow morning and then this shows that there could be some snow on some of the bay area peaks from mt. Hamilton and mt. Saint helena as we see the moisture streaming through it is chilly in into Christmas Day and then tapers off late tomorrow night. The woman who moved into nun unoccupied home in oakland spoke out. Roz, what are the women saying as for the pressure to them just clear out this morning . Reporter well there is an awful lot of pressure and urgency in all of that. But they had a message, the mom for housing for the group that owns the property said lets talk because we want to buy the house. You remember how this got started. Two homeless moms moved into the magnolia Street Property last month. They have refused to leave despite an eviction notice. In a new twist we learned that the nonprofit shelter 37 has partnered with wedgewood, the company that owns the property and sent the letters a mom urging them to vacate the home so they could renovate it by hiring disadvantage youth and the money would go to youth at risk group and the moms want to buy the home but the community wont negotiate with them. We will support efforts like this for moms and children not try to evict us before christmas or before the new year. So we would just want to say to wedgewood to sell us this house, now. A mom should not be homeless and we should not have children on the street. Reporter now a representative of the City Council Told us that yesterday the council sent a letter to wedgewood asking them to negotiate with the women or sell them another home because the company owns multiple homes in the area and if not the council said the city might look into how to seize the property as a last resort is negotiations dont work. The search is still on for a suspect wanted in connection with the stabbing death of the younger brother of 49ers backup quarterback cj beathard. Cl Clayton Beathard was killed over the weekend. Arrest warrants have been issued for Michael Moseley who they say got into an argument over a woman that led to the deadly stabbing. His family and friends were stabbed to death, a third person was injured. We are focused on moseley and that the investigation is showing that he was the person who had a sharp object during the fight and we fully believe that he is the person who inflicted the stab wounds. Police say moseley does have a violent criminal history. Now to a followup. Today were expecting to learn what is next for the man accused of killing a woman at a b. A. R. T. Station last year. John lee cowell is a transient who police say stabbed nia wilson to death at the mcarthur braurts station. The judge will decide if he will stand trial on january 6th as scheduled or declare him mentally incompetent and the third option is to appoint another psychiatrist to examine cowell and the judge said there are signs cowell is stalling to avoid a trial. If you are going to be shopping around napa, expect a High Temperature only to reach about 52 degrees today. But we do have that sunshine, a breezy wind. More clouds as we go into the evening and temperatures cooling off into the mid40s. And then were once again going to see High Temperatures in the low 50s across the bay area. With San Francisco reaching 53. In time for the menorah lighting tonight at 4 30 well be at about 51 degrees. Mostly cloudy and then as the night goes on well be watching our storm ranger to see if there is any rain moving in. That rain becomes most likely later on tonight. Becomes more likely later on tonight. And if you plan to head out to christmas in the park, were all dry for those events going on around san jose. But then as we look at our hourbyhour fore, into 11 00, we start to see some spotty rain popping up, becoming more widespread. Later on tonight and into early tomorrow morning, notice all of the colors here on the map. So there looks like there could be some snow on some of the hills and parts of the north bay around lake county and farther to the north and then for the east bay were looking at some snow dusting mt. Hamilton and still some waves of rain moving through. And even into tomorrow afternoon, there is still a chance of showers for christmas. If you are trying to get outside, let the kids play with their new toys, just watch out for some of the showers that still could be passing by along with the cool temperatures. But once again this is not a strong storm. So were looking at mostly about a tenth to a quarter inch of rain. There may be higher amounts in the Santa Cruz Mountains as well as some isolated spots in the north bay. That is a look at heavenly. It is so beautiful as the skies clear. We have a nice coating of snow on the ground. This is a look at homewood. People out enjoying the fresh powder that we have. And i a travel conditions getting there until later this evening. And then well start to see some light snow coming down once again and then going into the next several days, not a heavy snow, about one to five inches but just enough to make the roads very slippery if you will be traveling, especially heading toward the end of the weekend. And that is when well see another chance of rain coming in. Once we see this system passing by late tomorrow evening it clears out. Well have a few days to dry out with still some cool temperatures, only reaching the mid50s inland. Well see if this next storm system coming in looks like it continues to weaken as well.
