Lets take a look at this area of low pressure, again, as this moves up to the northeast, were going to see a transition from rain over to snows in areas like philadelphia, new york, up across boston. That will last through the night and into early tuesday and then it will continue through the day, across central and northern new england. We could see an additional 2 to 4 inches of snow that would be widespread across the northeast, then you get into the Higher Elevations. Thats where we could see 6 or more inches of snow. We were at the parade, last we heard was hey, we need more laser even after that. I have been going almost every day for more laser the first laser i actually had to go under for. You had flashes, you knew to come in right away laser, if you have a small enough tear, laser can weld down the outside of the tear to prevent more fluid from getting underneath and more of the retina detaching, so the lasers really need a way to take care of it, if the tear is small enough, you dont have to go to the operating room. And i have to say for the last week, the doctors have been like, you know, hopefully we wont have to have surgery, and i did not google it because i was like, i do not need to see the parade of horrible. Best thing you could have done. But when i read about it this morning, the retinal surgery is major. You have to be in a certain position because well usually put an oil bubble or gas bubble that sits in the eye it has to flatten the retina out. How do you flatten the retina out, you have to be face down, maybe a week, three weeks. All day, all night . Yeah, they rent beds for it, almost like in it for your head. So you got really lucky. Whats longterm, though, for savannah longterm she should be fine. If the tear is small enough that it can be lasered in the office, then we just need to wait a couple of weeks for it to heal no vigorous exercise. No problem. Maybe stay away from your sons truck for a little while. If people at home are worried that they have the what are the signs . Really important, never ignore flashing lights, even if you werent hit, if youre just going about your day, they can happen spontaneously, you have flashing lights, never ignore or a lot of floaters all at once, not that one floater you get here and there but a lot of floaters and of course loss of vision, curtain coming down from the top or side, never ignore signs like that.
