So far the fire has chared nearly 77,000 acres. 282 structures destroyed, half of those are homes. Another 33 homes damaged. More than 5,200 firefighters are on the frontline. More than half a dozen had no power due to the pg e power shutoffs. Donors were unable to give about 250 units of blood. They do have other centers for donating and blood drives happening. Our santa rosa Donation Center was in an evacuation zone, so it was closed or has been closed since sunday. Its opening up on friday. Weve been closed for five days.
