It will decide wednesday morning if it will cut power to 189,000 customers in this foothills. North bay and peninsula. It could begin 2 00 p. M. Tuesday. An effort to begin power would start thursday afternoon after winds down die. They are working to test infa Red Technology that would allow crews to inspect lines at night. Something that would speed up to reenergize lines. They are looking ahead to another dangerous wind event that could trigger a third power shut off this weekend. Depends on the timing between the events here. It looks like theres enough time before the next one. Frustrated customering say pg e should be on the hook for the expenses. I feel there should be a compensation. As far as compensation goes tonight, ceo the they say its currently not the policy to reimburse people for the power shut offs but said its not off the table.
