In fact, were standing here in coffey park, one of the hardest hit areas during the fires and they are still in rebuild mode two years later. Here is video from the Board Meeting and the board held a moment of silence to remember the 45 lives lost in these fires. And then shortly after they voted on that local emergency, which is in response to the pg e power shutoff that are due to the fire danger that were seeing around the bay area. Now this move does allow Sonoma County to open the Emergency Operation center if needed. Now i did get a chance to speak to the chair of the board aut th at this time about 10 to 15 are back in their homes and another twothirds still in the rebuilding process. The community is amazing. Ill just say that. From the response and the amount of people that came to got together and helped one another, it was neighbor helping neighbor literally. Going into tomorrow, once again, that front startsrigh colors in where the winds will start to gust. And we take you through tomorrow morning at 2 00 and well start to see the winds picking up but the humidity high. But then look at what happens going throughout the day. The humidity starts to come down and the winds will stay strong. So that is why tomorrow afternoon and into the evening we are anticipating the threat of those wildfires that could spread rapidly because of the high winds and the low humidity with the fuel that we have there. But youve bling us today is it is a cooler day. And it is actually a day to get out and prepare for the potential of notorw or the next. And so were enjoying some also cooler weather as we take a live look outside at the golden gate bridge. You could see a couple of fingers of fog rolling across the boy and the g somcooling to San Francisco that hit the mid80s yesterday. Today it looks like were mostly stay in the 60s and low 70s. We had inland to dublin with a live look outside and it is a nice afternoon. But we are going to still be warm here. Reaching the mid80s with a few high clouds moving through and our temperatures reaching up to about 85 degrees at 3 00 to 4 00 this afternoon. The sevenday forecast is coming up at the bottom of the screen. We do have some more cooler air in the forecast. It is still a warm day for the inland valley, up to 87 in antioch and morgan hill and napa andin 85 and 83 in santa rosa with San Francisco once again up to about 70 degrees. Ive been looking around at all of the cameras and i saw this fire. It has been going on for several hours. And this is happening in the sierra just southeast of placerville and so now we have this new network of cameras with pg e where we can scan around california to see what is going on. So well continue to monitor that situation and bring you updates but we know our fire danger will go up over the next couple of days due to an increase in wind and a decrease in humidity. And so we could at times see our winds gusting up to about 55 Miles Per Hour. Especially in some of the higher elevations. So our fire danger outlook will be high for the north bay and the south bay and the east bay. That dry dissending air over the Central Valley into the bay area im as a cold front blows through tomorrow. So the red flag warning in effect for all of these areas shaded in red. Including much of the bay area. And well have more updates on that. Weve been toast weve been posting on the hourbyhour wind speed forecast. This is tomorrow morning at 6 00. Look around winters. Were seeing winds already at 38 to 45 Miles Per Hour sustained with higher gusts. Those high winds continue for tomorrow afternoon. Especially in the north bay and then get strong again for wednesday night into thursday. And that is happening even as our temperatures are dropping. But the problem will be the high winds and theow humidity that well have a combination and the strongest off shore wind event weve seen in a couple of years. Were going to see those temperatures coming down and continuing into the weekend. More seasonable weather inland. San francisco also cooling off but it will be windy and well continue to monitor for the potential of any spreading wildfires, marcus and laura. Thanks for the update.
