Many of cal fires rigs have been packed up and directed back to their stations tonight. This fire has been largely snuffed out, but at its height it was fast moving and dpru gre 526 acres. You can see the long line of flames as they inch towards home. This fire drived in the open space, a popular recreational area. People could see the massive plume of smoke all over the bay area. I saw it all over richmond and i was coming out here i was like uhoh, it must be close to my home. That was scary and then last year was the paradise fire and brought back a lot of bad memories, so scary to have it so close to home but looks like its getting contained tonight. Thick smoke prompted some people to put on masks an advisory and it was issued just around sunset and all roads in the area were open. Most fire crews have wrapped up here but a few units will stay on scene to mop up some of the hot spots. Theyll likely be here through the rest of the night. And according to the latest advisory t advisory the fire area is about 30 contained. There was one building damaged and it was in the open area. There were no homes that were damaged. We saw that warning for north bay which basically lasted for 14 hours, that was just for the north bay and already in its place we have the fire watch. This one is going to last for 36 hours. Were talking all through the day wednesday and about 5 00 thursday. In addition to that the region wide impact of these winds could cause more power issues across all Northern California including the central coast. We could see an elevated risk of Power Management happening from wednesday to thursday and that could include portions of of inforth bay. So were watching this fire weather watch and potential for winds that will pea stronger as high as 45 Miles Per Hour. And a closer look at that hour by hour and more wind on the way for next weekend. I was sitting a lot of policemen there banging on the door and looking in the windows with guns drawn. Police say as of 9 30 tonight they believe the suspect is still barricaded inside the home without any hostages. Witnesses say there was a young child under about 5 years old who managed to get out of the home earlier tonight. There are no reports of any injuries and police are not confirming if in fact the suspect wasnside the home or if they arrested anyone. New details tonight on a shooting in richmond, three teenage boys have been arrested for that crime. Happened last friday after the varsity football game. You can see a dark sedan speeding away, people running away, three teenagers were shot. A School Resource officer identified a 17yearold who was involved in a car burglary right before that shooting. After searching his home police say they found one of it handguns used in the shooting and they arrested two other teenage boys. One of the victims saw hospitalized in bad shape. Since the shooting west Contra Costa School District starting all Football Games earlier. Chp officers responded to reports of a young woman walking on highway 101 around 5 00 this morning. Officers discovered at the 17yearold girl had been driving a pickup truck and hit a tree earlier. Inside the truck was the body of a 21yearol fm san jose in the passenger seat. The teenager was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. The names of the suspect and victim have not yet been released. Hurricane dorian tore through the bahamas last month leading a lot of animals stranded so a search and rescue team from florida used infrared drones to find them. The team found miracle trapped under rubble and hed been there for three weeks, believe it or not. Miracle was very thin when the rescue team found him. But now hes being treated at a dog ranch in florida and sounds like hes going to be okay. Poor guy. Its a wonderful story and our second drone helping make things better story. Upper level system here off the coast bringing us the clouds, but no rain drops undernoegt those clouds. As you see as we head through the overnight hours into early part of tomorrow those clouds start to thin out, and any sign of fog staying welloff shore. So temperatures in the 40s and 50s. And highs tomorrow just a slight cool down, but 70s and 80s across the bay. Upper 80s san jose, a still a chance of seeing 90s especially around places like livermore, morgan hill and tuesday now look at the numbers. 60s and 70s across the bay, low 80s inland, so that is due to sea breeze making a bit of a come back, but an unwelcome wind would be some gusty dry winds and that unfortunately what seems to be taking place wednesday and thursday as High Pressure builds behind low pressure air, and this is a classic strong offshore wind event. Were going to see it startup wednesday afternoon all the way through thursday. And youll notice the wind speed this time around will not just be confined to the north bay. Look how the map shows you those areas in red and purple. And perhaps even the Santa Cruz Mountains as we get into thursday. And thursday afternoon, eventually the wind speeds start to ease off a little bit after 5 00 thursday. Keep in mind the fire watch for the bay area starts. And well see another system approach towards the weekend which may try to toss a few showers on the coast. But as it moves through quickly another case of some wind heading into sunday.
