Walking to school or heading to work you may have that heater on, and were going to see those temperatures going from the 40s to the low 70s by noon, and we wont be done there. From fairfield coming in toward the cor delia junction that crash involving a tanker still blocks a fast lane, fire crews on scene, theres no fire, but we are looking at the slower drive thats really starting to build up. Over here we have rockville road and cor delia road on either side of i80 moving smoothly. We should see more traffic hit to the area. If youre familiar with sassoon valley road that wont help you much because its in the middle of the backup. You cant get there if youre coming to the area out of vacaville. As you get over here, a little slowing shows up pittsburg into bay point for highway 4 and thats about it for Contra Costa County. You have your standard backup at the bay bridge toll plaza. We know the victim was a man, it was around 9 00 last night. He was about a block away, he was outside at the intersection of williams and kelttner when someone started shooting at him. A friend of the man found him on the sidewalk where he eventually died. Police have been speaking to witnesses but do not believe they have made an arrest. The park may remain closed all day today. In the meantime a 15,000 reward is being offered to track down the driver in a deadly hitandrun in oakland, it happened a little after 11 00 a. M. Yesterday at foothill and 22nd avenue. The driver ran a red light and struck a 45yearold woman walking with a 4yearold girl in the crosswalk. The woman died. Shes now being identified as wang truong of oakland. The girl is expected to survive. So far authorities are not saying what relation, if any, the girl has to truong. According to the mercury news the city Council Voted to approve an 81 million Improvement Plan for el camino real. The plan will include new bicycle lanes, wider sidewalks and the new signalized crosswalks. The upgrades are expected to take years to complete. Within the last year, two people have been hit and killed along the fourmile stretch of el camino real. In a few hours, we will learn more about a major traffic project that will affect hundreds of thousands of drivers heading into and out of San Francisco. Caltran also demolish and reple the deck on highway 10 at alamine circle north of 101 and 280 interchange. Work will take about a month. He then handed the hard over to chinese intelligence in beijing but it was all part of a sting. If convicted, pang could face ten years in prison. As you get dressed this morning, we have such a cool start, you do need to break out the winter gear, maybe a scarf and a coat especially if youll be outside for a while. But then later on today, maybe youll be comfortable with a tshirt and jeans. Its going to be one of those days where you have to be prepared for a little bit of everything. As we go through the rest of the forecast, well see one more push of slightly cooler air coming in by tomorrow, as the storm system moves through the pacific northwest. We have some mid70s today and tomorrow, upper 70s by friday, and then some 80s in the forecast for the inland valleys on the weekend. Were up to about 86 to start out next week and then starting to cool off. And for San Francisco, more sunshine in the forecast, warming up well see some highs right up to about 76, as we see the temperatures peak this sunday. Mike, one bridge is getting a lot clearer. Hold on a second, not this direction of the bridge. This is the richmondsan rafael bridge westbound your commute getting more crowded, thats the commute direction and just before 6 00 right now, we see more traffic flowing over to san rafael. Its the opposite direction, counter commute where we have the slowing that shows up, but that Police Activity that was an issue there in the past tense. Its cleared from what i understand, all lanes cleared from the chp report, thats what we hear and see the Speed Sensors starting to improve a little bit as well. Once again getting over from san rafael and larkspur, san quentin over mid span, that is the direction that is slow for the time being. Should be good recovery over the next ten minutes.
