Good morning, everybody on friday we told you tests we commissioned of illicit thc cartridges showed startling results. All had alarmingly high levels of pesticides and most had vitamin e as well, something many researchers believe is causing the lung diseases across the country. Well, this morning, we take a deeper look at how and why this may be happening our investigation took us to Downtown Los Angeles where in a 12block radius, we sought dozens and dozens of storefronts advertising vaping products. Were in pursuit of what black market operators come here for the empty packaging and cartridges that they fill with cheap and often tainted substances sold as legitimate thc products. Within minutes, we score we were able to go in one shop, one stop shopping, buy these dank vape containers, the packaging, and a hundred of the cartridges into which you can put whatever you want. Theres no i. D. , no tax, no nothing. In fact, were looking for this particular type of packaging the cdc saying that this brand was used by a staggering 66 we talked to a young man in california, 19yearol Fabian Castillo who says he used dank vapes and ended up in a medically induced coma for nine days. Can you do the stairs i did physical therapy in fact that same day, did some stairs and before i left the hospital, they did the exact number of stairs going up and going down which is about 80 stairs and i was able to do it. The interesting thing was, and i was wondering if this is unusual, line wasnt long term it happened within like thremons i went from a twinge to excruciating pain. You typically compensate. So the pain was probably there on a lower level but you didnt realize it and all of a sudden your body was like i cant compensate anymore, im going to let you know it is a lot of pain and then it starts building up fantastically to the point where you need Something Like this and you did the one important thing, physical therapy. That is the most important thing you can do is listen to the physical therapist because they know exactly what they are doing and they will give you exercises to use at home which im assuming youre using. Last year record snowfall came only after years of drought. In denver, this month record heat the city has now gone 18 years without a septber snfall that is the longest on record. Colorado needs its mountain snow back to provide drinking and Irrigation Water to the communities below. How big of a priority is this for the state now .
