The typical home we live in here cranks out nearly 9,000 pounds of Carbon Dioxide every month making us responsible for a quarter of all greenhouse emissions. Now san jose says it wants to clean things up. Theyre already drilling trenches preparing for the move from gas to electricity. What am i going to say to them when i asked what we did to turn this around before it was too late . Reporter the bay areas largest city in a bid to fight Climate Change says it will change the way it builds. San jose will become the nations largest city to go all electric. The cost wont be too much to city because its new development. Youre using different outlets. Natural gas youre going to electric. For those of us, it will cost a reace these appliances. Its not cheap to replace appliances but the city does have incentive no terms of rebate if you want to go electric now. Big change. It will probably spread across the bay area.
