But northbound we see a little slowing, paving work taking a couple of lanes out, and thats why we see a little woodside toward 92. No major concerns, just be careful because thats the cone zone. Yes, so we are going to start out with some clear skies, looking at San Francisco, but you can see the fog right there near the coast. You can see it in the distance, but we will get a little bit more sunshine here today. If youre driving from antioch, maybe headed into the city, its going to be about 60 degrees as you step out the door. If youre going to wait until later before you leave, its going to be in the upper 60s, and then seeing those temperatures in the upper 70s by noontime. So lets go hour by hour, check out our temperature forecast for today. At 10 00, were in the upper 60s and low 70s for all of the bay area. Then well start to see temperatures spreading out as we head toward noon and early afternoon. At 2 00 were seeing antioch at 83 degrees. 74 in san mateo, and San Francisco in the upper 60s and then going into the rest of the day, it will continue to heat up in the valleys, a few more degrees from yesterday, and so we are going to have a slightly warmer day going into this evening, cooling off nicely again, though, with those temperatures in the 60s. Now, we are also going to see those high temperatures in the south bay in spots like los gatos reaching 81 degrees. We do have some changes ahead. The area of low pressure thats been well to the north of us, but also providing some cooling changes in our forecast, will start to move away. High pressure builds for the weekend, but then well start to see some much cooler air dipping in by the middle of next week. So get ready for a hot weekend in the valleys, and also windy, which will increase our fire danger, and then as we monitor for that, well see those highs in the low 90s for both saturday and sunday, and then look at what happens for the middle of next week, well see temperatures in the mid70s on wednesday, at least well have a few days of 70s inland, while San Francisco stays in the 60s and sees that fog returning to the coast. Weve been watching this first day of summer forecast and mike, youre also looking at a summer drive pattern. You know what that means . Color change with the seasons, not in california. Roadways. Were looking at green sensors right now. Thats a smooth flow. We still see a little fall, Autumn Colors through palo alto. The bay bridge toll plaza is filled in but over the last few minutes weve just seen the last of the left lanes fill in full. It is lighter by comparison, friday at the toll plaza but its still got the metering lights on. Theyre turned on a little later than a monday to thursday and you can judge by the approach through Contra Costa County and oakland, 580, 880 everything is moving smoothly. New details the suspected link to murders on skyline boulevard on the peninsula, officially being charged. 26yearold Malik Dosouqi is being held at the San Mateo County jail, charged in connection to the stabbing death of John Sione Pekipaki and taxi cab driver abdulmalek nasher. Oracle arena in oakland, the Alameda CountySheriffs Office says there is clear evidence the president of the Toronto Raptors president hit a deputy after the game. Bob redell, tell us more what the video shows. Reporter the video we understand comes from two sources, the security cam inside oracle arena behind me and the deputys body cam, and it clearly shows the Toronto Raptors president using both his fists in a shoving motion and hitting that deputy in the jaw. This is according to sergeant ray kelly, who spoke with our own raj mathai last night. This is the story we broke last week as you can see in our exclusive video shows the aftermath. Masai ujiri, the toronto team collective, being separated from the deputy, after the alleged altercation took place. We confirmed the globe and mail newspaper in toronto has seen the video images and verifies what Sergeant Kelly is describing. Sergeant kelly says the deputy was just doing his job, checking for proper credentials for people, trying to enter the Basketball Court after the raptors beat the warriors to win the nba championship. He tried to force his way pass our deputy. Our deputy did his job the way hes supposed to, to protect the court especially at a highprofile event of National Security significance, and he did his job and did it correctly. Mr. Ujiri then came back and, in a very aggressive manner, confronted our deputy and at that point, using both his fists in a shoving motion, struck our deputy in the jaw. Sergeant kelly also said the deputy suffered a concussion and is now getting death threats. The sheriff was recommending charges be filed against ujiri. Legislation aimed at cracking down vaccination exemptions is one step closer to becoming law. The state Assembly Health committee voted to move that bill forward yesterday. It would continue to allow limited medical waivers to the states mandatory vaccination law, but would also crack down on doctors who grant them when they shouldnt. We have a big rig that is off the roadway but into a ditch and so right here near the mission offramp we may have trouble just for folks who are exiting south 880 at mission and that may be an issue youll see that over there, squeezed into the lower righthand corner of your screen. Overall look at that green. Who is ready for the weekend . Me. Just in time today, tioga road in yosemite is reopening. It is the East Entrance to the park. Theres only limited access. The road will be open daily for a couple of hours in the morning and then again in the afternoon. The rest of the time road repairs will continue, including getting all that snow removed. My friends were worried about that because we hear about the ski area is still open into july. Right. They typically go through tioga pass before that so they were concerned. They have it. They have the check the couple of hours. A little window of opportunity there. Er with we are going into ou weekend. The Alameda County fair continuing and nice weather in pleasanton. The middle of the day were in the low 80s and dropping off to nice and comfortable weather into the evening with some low 70s. If youre planning to go to the as game, it will be a little bit warmer tonight compared to yesterday, and so were going to be in the upper 60s at first pitch, dropping into the low 60s with mostly clear skies and your saturday forecast will still have a wide range in temperatures from the mid60s in the coast, the bay reaching the low 80s to 90 degrees in the inland areas. On sunday, well be slightly hotter, reaching the lower 90s in the valleys and still keeping those upper 60s for the coast. We also have music in the park in danville. Season kicking off tomorrow and well start out at about 90 degrees, but by the time the music begins, well be at 85, still very warm. You want to make sure you bring a bottle of water and maybe find a place in the shade. Well be cooling down into the upper 70s at the end of the celebration, and then as you make plans to maybe head to santa cruz, well be in the upper 60s and low 70s, so thats where we keep the natural air conditioning and we will also start out with some clouds during the early hours.
