There is a sense of concern among parents from this Elementary School in dublin, after the School District sent them an email. It was very matter of fact, vague email notifying us a student had passed away. Reporter dublin unified School District found it about it from the Health Department. The Health Department says it was initially notified on january 8th, 2018 of a reportedable disease by the health care provider. Without any more specifics, it was troubling. Reporter these parents are worried it could have been the flu that took that childs life, but neither the count ey or the School District would give us details, citing private health information. The Health Department assured us this will put no one at risk at the school site or the community. Reporter but that still might not be enough to put parents minds at ease.
