Police say he was driving on 121 in napa county when a boulder crashed into his car sending it down this hillside. Cal fire says the atlas fire last october burned much of the vegetation and the fire scarred hillside likely became destabilized. We get the rain in the fire areas. The fire burns the vegetation out and now we have all those boulders that normally holding them up another risk of coming down. Cal trans geologist says that section is prone to rock slides. When you think about how much rainfall we got in that short amount of time. Over three in santa rosa and two to three plus inches from napa. Its simple when you think about our mudslide risk and why its higher. Well take a closer look. When the hills get saturated with the rain they become heavy. Now its leading to accusations that a paramedic got intoxicated on duty at the fire house back in september. Heres investigative reporter. Reporter San Franciscos Emergency Services department is investigating something that happened here at station 11. The allegations are that a party in honor of a firefighters transfer got out of hand. So far at least five firefighters and command staff have been notified they are under investigation. Investigators want to know whether the station misrepresented its abilities to handle life saving calls when its on duty parmts was incapacitated. That could violate the licenses agreement between the Fire Department and the department of health. According to supervisor. The eelgss are very disturbing. Reporter Jonathan Baxter a spokesman for the Fire Department would not discuss specifics of any personnel matter. He confirmed theres a pending investigation into quote very serious allegations after we asked him about the station 11 incident. This is not the first time the department is faced accusations of drunken firefighters. He found the fuse that was labeled spare and he went ahead and swapped that spare to fix the radio. The radio fuse now has the spare. Right. The radio works but then the car wouldnt run. Michael towed his car to the local dealer where he learned his transmission had failed. Why . Well, michael says the Service Manager told him the spare fuse was incorrectly marked. It was actually linked to the transmission and that caused the failure. Michael paid 175 to have it fixed. He didnt think he should be on the hook for that 175 bucks because he says the fuse was incorrectly marked. So, he filed a claim with dodge for a refund. Because were talking about it, you know that dodge denied the refund. He reached out to us for help. We contacted dodge and michael received a 175 dollar refund. Fiat chrysler wouldnt confirm if the fuse was incorrectly marked. It did issue a statement and said that it is pleased to resolve this issue and extends apologies to the customer.
