Overnight, the rocky fire grew to more than 13,000 acres. That fire started wednesday east of lower lake near rocky creek road about 50 miles north of santa rosa in an area difficult for crews to access. Police say the men got into a fight with two female officers yesterday morning after he raea ended a car and walked away from the scene. Both officers were injured and went to the hospital. It appears that the officers used a reasonable amount of force and was able to get them hand cuffed and stopped. Police called paramedics and performed cpr but that man died. Police say after the incident they learned that he was wanted in the beating of a 97yearold elderly man. The man expected life threatening injuries. We are learning more about the 16yearold boy akuccused o murdering 8yearold maddie. One of his former classmates was in the courtroom yesterday. He heard the charges against him. He said he was talking to him and knew something wasnt quiet right. We are protecting her identity. He did threaten suicide a couple of times. Hes accused of luring 8yea 8yea 8yea8yea 8yearold maddie to his apartment and killed her there and dumped her body in a recycling ben. Another kidnapped girl was captured. Now theyre suing for 20 million. Police found the home burned down with the girls mother and brother inside. The suspect was 40yearold james. After they found the two in the idaho wilderness and shot and killed him. Now his family plans to sue the agency. They say he never got a chance for a fair trial before he was killed. 4 36.
