It is unusual because very little was sfoelen, yet almost every single item inside the home was destroyed. Inside the home you can see shattered plates in the kitchen, a broken clock along with leather couches and chairs that had been slashed to the foam. As she walks through her sisterinlaws home, shes in disbelief to see motor oil poured throughout the house. Just complete shock. Ive never seen a house in this type of condition ever. You cant even walk in here. You can smell the odor of the oil and it smells awful. Bleach is mixed in. And theres glass everywhere. Reporter she says police said they had never seen anything like this. It appears to be a very personal attack on the family of six. Amanda suspects it may possibly be a hate crime against the east indian family. Even the Kids Clothing was destroyed with motor oil. And the burglars smashed the kitchen counter. Every appliance in the house has been tampered with so its no longer usable. And the tv still stands and it appears they only took a few laptops. Reporter a number of agencies are investigating this officerinvolved shooting while the police chief was out there earlier explaining how it unfolded. It involved a stolen car. They say also an attempted carjacking. They started getting calls around 7 00 this morning. Thats when a stolen white car was crashed into a light pole by light mcdonald road near San Francisco. They say he was holding a backpack and he ran on san bruno avenue and tried to car jack a driver. But the driver listened to officers who wasnt exactly sure what his role was, and the suspect jumped out and tried to get into other cars still carrying the backpack. Police say he refused orders to stop and began to come at the officer. One shot is fired. It does not strike the suspect. The suspect continues to come at the officer. One of the other officers can hear the suspect saying shoot me shoot me shoot me. A second round is fired. It strikes the suspect and what appears to be the abdomen. He goes down. Officers responded to the scene. Reporter and he says that man was hospitalized in serious, but stable condition. The officer not injured. They later determine thad that initial stolen car belonged to a woman who parked if there and was out to run the San Francisco marathon. Asked what the motive was, police are saying at this point they still dont know but this will be investigated by a number of agencies out of san mateo county. Christie smith, nbc bay area news. In San Jose Police are looking for the gunman in a deadly shooting. This happened just after 11 00 last night in East San Jose very near the 680 101 interchange. The victim was talking with people in the driveway of a home. The suspect jumped out of a car and shot them and then jumped back in and took off. They describe him as a latino man and driving a white, fourdoor honda accord. Thousands are expected to attend the funeral for a Hayward Police officer who was shot and killed during a traffic stop. He served at the Police Department for 15 years. Mark estrada is accused of killing lunger. The funeral will be on thursday at 10 00 in the morning.
