Dissolvable single-use cutlery could be the future of hospitality, all thanks to three Sunshine Coast innovation students.
Year 9 students Henri Everson, Jessica Cash and Lorenzo McPherson from Matthew Flinders Anglican College have been selected as finalists in the 2021 Sunshine Coast Telstra Innovation Awards.
Their proposal aimed to solve the significant environmental problem of plastic cutlery, which are discarded as landfill or litter, putting already threatened wildlife in danger of choking or developing severe health detriments.
