Globally recognized streetwear imprint KITH has linked up with
Nike and the New York Knicks to unveil a multi-dimensional apparel and footwear collection. Hot off the heels of revealing a Christmas-themed capsule made alongside ever-popular cereal brand Lucky Charms, Ronnie Fieg and his crew pivot their focus towards the basketball world just days before the commencement of the 2020-2021 NBA season.
For the campaign, the three parties appropriately enlisted Juelz Santana, Jim Jones and Cam’ron — three iconic members of the Harlem-based hip hop group Dipset — to model the off-court pieces and spit a verse (shown below) at center floor of Madison Square Garden. Navy, white and orange — signature colors of the NBA franchise that calls “The Mecca” home — serve as the foundation for the collection as they apply to an array of hoodies, sweatpants, tees and crewneck sweaters. Hoodies and sweatpants are each treated with all-over Nike checks, while the rest of the tops feature KITH classic box logo stacked underneath a Swoosh. Furthermore, a water-repellent track jacket in addition to a duo of two New Era 59Fifty hats that carry co-branded logos will be included in the assemblage
