KINGSTON — The city’s rental vacancy rate improved in 2020 for the second year in a row, according to the Canadian Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
The rental vacancy rate in the Kingston Census Metropolitan Area, which includes Frontenac Islands, Loyalist and South Frontenac townships — increased to 3.2 per cent in 2021, and the average monthly rent increased by 3.1 per cent to $1,282.
