Kingmoor Junior School in Carlisle were donated a tree to plant to round off World Book Week
Kingmoor Junior school rounded off their celebration of World Book Week by planting a tree to help the students realise the importance of looking after the planet.
The silver birch tree was donated by a member of Kingmoor Junior School and planted in the school groun by members of staff on Friday.
The school has had a busy schedule of activities and sessions for children to mark World Book Week.
To kick start the celebrations, the school prepared 310 World Book Day packs for students and prepared a programme of pre recorded events and lessons.
