King City police investigates homicide, asks for public's help

A man was shot and killed early in the morning in King City on March 31. According to investigators, officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Broadway Cir., near the highway, at 1:06 a.m. Officers arrived to find a man, later identified as Miguel Angel Aviles, 31, of King City, with multiple gunshot wounds. Aviles died as a result of the shooting, police said. Investigators believe that Aviles was in the area of Broadway Circle and River Drive when he got into a fight. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a possible witness to the crime.
