Killer who was 13 when he beat boy, 4, to death with a rock quietly released from prison

Eric Smith was 13 years old in 1993 (right) when he lured a 4-year-old boy (inset) into the woods in western New York and brutally killed him. Now 41, Smith (left) was released on parole in February.
